These are the economy Chicago Metallic pans. The better quality Chicago Metallic pans cost $20+ each, instead of $20 for a set of three. These pans rust, even though the label reads dishwasher-safe. After using them, I realize its much better to spring for the better pans, or better yet get reasonably priced professional quality aluminum pans, and use parchment or silpats.

The pans are heavy with a durable non stick finish. We used them frequently since we purchased them. Easy to clean and seem built to last. No signs of potential rust or wear. Well worth the money.

I bought this set for my aunt as a Christmas gift. I would give a higher rating, but the largest pan arrived scratched. Like the other reviewer said, Amazon didn't put anything between the pans to prevent them from moving against each other during shipping.

First, these are terrific jelly roll pans. They are very heavy-weight and the non-stick coating works well. Just as with all non-stick coated items, they must be treated with care so that the non-stick coating is not damaged. The picture shown at the time of this review is not 100% accurate as there is a Chicago Metallic logo embossed into the center of each of the pans, if that matters to you. I hand wash so I cannot attest to dishwasher compatibility. I strongly recommend these pans - but -

I purchased a set from Amazon and, just like so many others, it arrived with the largest pan scratched by the corners of the smaller pan nested within. This is NOT Amazon's fault - it is the manufacturer's packaging. While the manufacturer does put a thin sheet of foam in between the pans, it can shift and can leave areas like the corners unprotected. I requested a replacement from Amazon and they shipped out a replacement promptly, but unfortunately, the second set arrived in the same scratched condition, along with a dent in the larger pan. Again, not Amazon's fault, but at this point I requested a refund rather than continue the shipping back and forth of scratched pans.

I happened to find the set at a local retailer where I could examine the pans before I purchased them so I didn't have to worry about shipping. Also, along with a coupon I had I got them for almost half the price listed at the time of this review. So, buyer beware - this might be an item better purchased locally.

I hoped against hope that my pans would arrive in good condition but they did not. I purchased from Amazon's open box / returns subsidiary, warehouse_deals but was very disappointed. They were described as open box, sealed in Amazon brown box and did not have "cosmetic blemishes" as the other two offers described. However, the plastic wrap was not intact, and, although the small pan looked great, the middle pan had a big scratch (down to the metal) on the rolled edge and the largest one was all beat up - dented and lumpy and a 4 inch wide scrape all across the back of the pan as well as inside. What a mess! I am not sure if putting in some kind of paper or dividers would help against scratching from the manufacturer -- it could scratch the pans as well. Since they are non-stick front and back, they probably easily slide around on each other.

I am sure the pans would be great if not beat up -- but non-stick will not work if the pan is scratched (especially from the start). These would start rusting right away from the scratches. I would not recommend putting them in the dishwasher once they had any scratches. I thought maybe I could just use parchment paper but the seller had a problem with their email auto-replies and never answered me about a possible discount so I returned the pan set.

I love it! I have been looking for some heavy duty cooking pans and never found them. Now I have them thanks to Amazon. They cook up beautifully. I will be looking on Amazon from now on for items that are hard to find. I really like the jelly roll edges on the pans.

I am giving the item itself 5 stars because they are insanely heavy and would probably do well if they had not arrived scratched. i am sending them back for a replacement and if they also arrived scratched then I will have to get a refund. Wish I'd seen the arrived scratched reviews last night - I would have just gotten a refund! Ah well - I'll update you on the replaced pans. The second set arrived scratched, too. So ...I cannot recommend you buy these at all, too bad, because the weight and feel of the pans is wonderful.

I brought these to replace a previous set of baking sheets (made by another company) that were utterly useless (they were rusted, bent, warped, stained---all after only 8 weeks of usage). Having had a bad experience in the past with baking trays, I spent a lot of time when choosing a replacement. I wanted something dishwasher safe, affordable, and of useful size. This product had good reviews, was affordable and I liked that there are three different sizes.

When this product arrived, I was immediately impressed. It looks nice and has a very durable feel. The product is a little heavier than I expected, but I think this is just a sign of its quality. I have used this product to cook many different things, and it still looks as good as new. It has been in the dishwasher more than a dozen times now, too, washes perfectly every time and still looks great.

Definitely recommended.
