An aluminum base plate with adjustable truck provides easy turning and control. The skate is available in white and comes in sizes one through eleven. It's covered by a 30-day warranty.

They are very high quality and the fit is perfect.

I used the skate tool that came with the skates to loosen wheels so they spin free without any play on the axles.

The skates run big so I ordered a size smaller and they fit well.

I recently bought skates and roller blades for my kids. As I was teaching them how to do it I remember how much I loved to skate as a kid. I'm 35 and "curvy" and didn't think my ankles could handle roller blades. Plus I love the retro look of these skates. They're exactly like the ones I had as a kid. The only difference is the color of the wheels. These ones are a pale, rosy pink - not the hot, orangy pink in one of the pictures. Also, some pictures show the heel as black, but mine came in the light brown.

I wear a size 9 shoe and ordered an 8 based on the other reviews. I'm glad I did because the 8s are just about perfect, if not still a little big. The wheels don't spin as easily as I remember from 25 years ago which is a good thing for someone like me who wants to take things slow.

The construction is quite sturdy. I was a little concerned about how well they could handle my "curves", but I felt very comfortable on them. I am thrilled with my purchase and plan on spending lots of time skating with the kids both outside around our apartment complex and at the rink once I get used to being that mobile again.

We ordered this product in a size 8 and when we received it, it was marked size 8 but it was easily a normal size 10. We had to pay to ship it back and exchange it for a smaller size, when there should have been an advisory that the skates run extremely large. It cost $19 dollars to ship it back for the exchange in addition to the original cost of the skates plus shipping. Other than that the skates are true to the description and are very cute. Therefore the skates actually cost $69 instead of $50 (including shipping).

At first I was considering buying a size smaller because the previous reviews, but something told me to get my regular size because I have wide feet. I'm a size 9 and ordered size 9 skates and they fit perfectly. So if you have wide feet, order your regular size.

They hold up well. It's been a year of heavy use and they still look new. Skates arrived quickly. I'd definitely recommend and have.

If you are looking for a skate that actually rolls, this is not the skate for you. As a child I did some figure skating on the competitive level, until I was twelve, then just went to session skating until I was about 17 years old (always with professional skates). I'm now 40 years old and recently decided I'd like to start skating again after enjoying a day of skating at my son's birthday party. I knew this Chicago Rink Skate wouldn't be on the professional level, but I was really disappointed that it doesn't roll well. I loosened the wheel, but that did not help at all. If you're looking for a skate that rolls, you should make sure the bearings are at least an ABEC 3 (this skate comes with the lowest rating of 1). And if you're planning on skating only indoors, shoot for a harder wheel, which will also help your skate roll.

I returned my skates and did more research to insure a better skate purchase. I recently received my "Fandango" skates by Pacer. For just $12 more (thanks to a wonderful sale), I have a skate that rolls FAST (ABEC 5 bearings), with the smoothest hard wheels (durometer of 101A)! I'm rolling fast now! Oh, and the leather on my Fandangos are real, and they came with a skate case--score! Instead of buying these toy skates, I recommend looking for a good deal on a skate of better quality.

I want to point out that some of the photos in the description are not the actual skate for this listing. This skate comes with a light colored heel and an adjustable toe stop (which isn't mentioned in the description). The skate with the black heel is a different Chicago skate.

Really liked the skates however they were way too big. I had to get a smaller size. I normally wear a 9 1/2 or a 10. I had to order a size 9.

They are beautiful and comfy. The only issue was the SIZE but I knew about this by reading the reviews so my order was fine. I'm a size 8 and the 7 fits me perfect. I thought I was gonna get the pink wheels but mine are more of a hot pink which I LOVE. They are sturdy and hold all 140lbs of me lol. And the breaks are rubber-like, not plastic like I read somewhere else. I haven't used them outside yet, but I have been having fun running around the house with them. I would definately recommend these skates to any and everyone, especially considering the price! But make sure you get it from Amazon. Returns are easy if you must and they are just more professional.
