Just in case you thought Chicago Blues was an artifact of the past, Lurrie and Billy presents Chicago blues with a more current sound.Just in case you thought Chicago Blues was only about an improvised "blues feeling", Lurrie and Billy bring the traditions of the Chicago Blues to the foreground. A great album for both its embrace of the past and its reach for the future. |
