Two Ducati remote controlled bikes with real Grand Prix Racetrack sounds: By grasping the infra red handle bar control, the superbikes are driven around the curves, over the humps, through the lap counter and finally to the pit stop. The Superbikes can also be driven off the racetrack through different courses created using the racetrack accessories (the start line, pit stop, lap counter, crash barriers, sponsors advertising boards and crash tires.) Requires 8 AA Batteries. Recommended for ages 2 years and up.

This is fun for a three-year-old for a very short while. There is really no racing involved, the two bikes are absolutely identical and have only one speed. This means that they never end up any farther from each other than where the began, so it's not like you can really race.

Little kids will be amused by this for a short time, but once the novelty of a moving bike wears off there's nothing else to sustain the entertainment value of the toy.

My two year old got this for Christmas, and it was a HUGE hit! He loves motorcycles - so watching these darling bikes race around the track is so much fun for him. I love that the handle/remote has buttons that are big and chunky - just right for small fingers. He has no problem operating it by himself. While it's not an exciting race for the rest of us - even my 10 and 7 year old boys don't mind playing it with him. The chunkiness of the bikes make them easy to to keep standing - no tipping over. The bikes do sometimes jump the track - but that only makes for a more interesting race in my two year old's eyes. It doesn't happen often, so it's not a huge problem. We are thrilled Santa made the choice to give us this. It's perfect for little ones.

I got this for my 2.5 year old nephew. He and my two year old son love playing with it. And a major bonus, is that the motorcycles run on the track or on the floor, so they can race them around the house too. They loved playing with it. and even the 8 and 9 year old thought this was pretty fun. Would say anywhere from 2-5 would love it as a gift.
