From the Manufacturer

The Chicco's Polly highchair has seven seat height positions, three seats reclines and an adjustable footrest to ensure your baby's comfort as they grow. Clean up is easy with two snap-on tray liners and a double pad design that ensures you always have a clean seat. The two padded fabric seat covers can easily be wiped clean. This has made feeding convenient with a one-hand reclining seat and clearly marked adjustment buttons so you never have to search for a hidden lever. Safety is evident with a 5-point harness with shoulder pads and 4 lockable caster wheels so your tike will stay in one place or you can move them around the kitchen as you do. The Polly is less than 10" when folded with the tray stored on rear legs and stands upright for a great space-saving solution. This highchair fits babies between 0 to 36 months.

And the padding makes it so you can't machine wash the cover, only wipe it down.

Removable tray has an awkward shaped bowl/cup holder - none of ours fit in the opening.

There are a lot of crooks and crevices that food get into and are hard to clean.

I was going to buy a wooden high chair for my baby, but after seeing one in person, decided on this one instead. I am SO glad I did! I can't rave enough about this high chair. Here are all the things I love about the chair:

1. Two chair covers! One can get thrown in the wash and still have a pad on the chair. I don't have to rush to clean it. However, unless it's a real mess, it is easy enough to clean with a cloth. Nice cushioning, too. My baby is comfy in it.

2. Removable tray liners! The high chair comes with 2 removable tray liners. I've never had to use both, but I guess if I didn't have a chance to wash the one before needing it again, it would be handy. I like that I can remove the whole thing and walk it to the trash can and then the sink. It's fantastic and easy to clean!

3. The tray has holders for storage on the back legs of the chair. I always put the tray on those holders when my baby is not in the chair. This makes it so easy to put my baby in, strap her in, and then grab the tray to put on. (one other reviewer didn't use this storage spot and noted it was difficult to remove the tray with the baby in her arms.) Storing it here eliminates this problem.

4. The leg separator is attached to the bottom of the tray instead of the seat. I love this feature. I don't have to worry about getting her legs around that thing while she is squirming in my arms. Instead, once she is strapped in I can worry about it. Plus, this means the chair will literally grow with her. When she is big enough and doesn't need this feature, it converts to a regular chair at the table.

5. Height adjustment is great. Without the tray on, she can sit at the table like a big girl. She thinks that is great!

I registered for the Polly because several of my friends recommended it and said it was the best chair on the market. I chose a color that looked good in our kitchen without realizing that some of the styles have FABRIC padded covers and some have VINYL. Apparently my friends have the Discovery - which is vinyl. The Adventure is fabric. The fabric is impossible to clean - you can't put it in the washing machine and it leaves watermarks when you spot clean it. It is an annoying cleaning process every night.

YUCK! This chair looks great HOWEVER there are so many cracks and crevices it is a pain to clean. The fabric cushions can be wiped but most things DO NOT wipe right off. I have to wash it at least once a week in the machine which leaves me without a cushion while it air dries.

We bought this chair for my 6mos old son after having him sit in a few at the store. We also have the Chicco stroller/car seat travel system which we love.
All the high chairs we tried had some little minor annoying feature/flaw. You just have to decide which problem you can live with. On this Chicco high chair the main problem is the tray attach/detach mechanism. Try holding your baby on one arm and taking the tray off with the other, then putting the baby in the seat and putting the tray back on while holding your child back. The tray attaches to the arms via a set of small bolts controlled by a lever on the front of the tray. The arms have to be perfectly parallel and straight for the bolts to find the right holes in the arms, or you have to struggle with it by moving tray back and forth until it clicks in. Whoever designed this tray system should have a severance package waiting for them on their desk in the morning.

The yoke or hump that goes between the child's legs is attached to the tray, not the seat, unlike most other chairs. Not a big deal, but it definitely means you have to strap the kid in when the tray isn't in place. The removable trays are huge and dont fit in my dishwasher, though its not that big of a deal to wipe them down in the sink.
Other than these things its a fine chair, though expensive given the problems above. I'd probably get another type if I had to do it again, but this one works fine enough to leave it alone for now. js

We received this high chair as a gift and were really excited at first because we love the Chicco brand, however once we started to actually use the chair, we were disappointed.

PROS:
1. The seat reclines to different positions, which makes it easy to feed a bottle or solid food.
2. Has different height adjustments
3. Tray locks onto the back legs for easy storage
4. Folds pretty easily
5. Adjustable footrest
6. Snack tray is removable

CONS:
1. The material for this design is horrible. It is incredibly hard to clean because it is not vinyl. Scrubbing vigorously with a sponge is the only way to remotely get any food off and even then it still looks dirty.
2. There are too many little crevices where particles of food can get stuck.
3. Removable tray has an awkward shaped bowl/cup holder - none of ours fit in the opening.
4. The removable tray is supposed to be dishwasher safe, but it's too long! It won't even fit in our dishwasher.
5. The tray doesn't glide onto the arms very easily.

Any mom should stay away from this chair (more specifically, this non-vinyl material) - ours continuously looks like we've never cleaned it. I'm hoping to donate/sell ours and get a new one with a vinyl cover.
