Sadly, poor quality,

I really wanted to like this stroller. And for the most part I have, but there are a few problems that I've had that I think those looking to purchase would like to know.First of all, I've had the stroller for about 6 months now and I use it every day. It is very lightweight and easy to fold and put in a trunk. Now on to the bad stuff... 1. About three times now the stroller has become unusable and unsafe because a nut from a screw (not the same one each time) has fallen off. Once this happened while going through airport security. Luckily, the security guard found the nut on the floor and reattached it for me. The last time this happened I got out my screwdriver and proceeded to try and tighten all the screws. Because of the way the stroller is constructed it is nearly impossible to tighten them all the way. 2. The attachment for the canopy broke one day and I had to get it replaced. 3. My daughter never really seems to be comfortable in her stroller. She's always slouched with her legs hanging off the side of the stroller. And this causes the harness to rub her neck until it is red. 4. I have an overall complaint about the craftmanship and quality of the stroller. I can wiggle the handles of the stroller and the whole stroller creaks up and down. It causes me to wonder how long I will be able to use it before it really just falls apart.

By far, the best umbrella stroller I have ever purchased!,

Having four children, space in our minivan is at a premium! We didn't have room for big bulky strollers, but I shuddered at the thought of having to settle for an ordinary umbrella stroller! I did some research and believe I have found, hands down, the best umbrella stroller there is out there. The Chicco London is nearly flawless. It folds up easily and takes up very little room. It has 5 recline positions, which is perfect for my 4 month old. The basket underneath is not as big as a full sized stroller's, but it is definately better than hanging a bag off the back as some people have suggested with other models. (Is it just me, or do other people worry that this could cause the stroller to tip over? ) My husband and I are both tall, 5'11" and 6'2'. The London has handles that come up higher than other models and they are ergonomically designed...very comfortable. I have had no problems with taking normal strides. My feet do not hit the stroller at all. This has always been a problem for me in the past. I know all of you tall parents out there know what I am talking about and can relate! The styling is definately European. I chose the red stroller and have had countless compliments on it. I was nervous to spend what seem like a lot of money (In my eyes.) for an umbrella stroller, but I have no regrets. It would be nice if it had a cup holder, but considering all of the other amenities it has compared to other umbrella strollers, it's not a big deal. I just bought a cup holder to attach to it for about $5. I have recommended this stroller to my friends and my sister. It is definately a keeper!

Works fine for me!,

The Chicco London stroller was made with parents and babies in mind. It is a little heavier than other umbrella strollers, but it is still very easy to pick up. The handles are higher than other umbrella strollers, which helps to avoid a bad back. The canopy is wonderful because it can be adjusted according to the location of the sun. It can also be removed, if not needed. My child is very comfortable in the reclining seat. The 5 point harness keeps my wiggly child in the seat during walks.I bought this stroller to use on trips. I am very happy with my travel system stroller, but it took up too much space in the car when we went on family vacations. I had 2 other umbrella strollers, which I returned. The cost of those two strollers almost paid for the Chicco London stroller. I highly recommend this stroller. It costs more than other umbrella strollers, but it also has many more features (canopy, reclining seat, extended leg rest, small basket, 5 point harness).

Perfect umbrella /toddler stroller,

I needed an umbrella stroller for our summer vacation for my 2 year old. We literally tried EVERY lightweight/umbrella stoller in the store and we both loved this one. It folds up like an umbrella stroller, it has a basket, sunvisor and reclines like full size strollers - it's the perfect inbetween option! As for it not having a drink holder - it is an umbrella stroller - I just bought an attachable drink holder that works just fine!

When I brought this stroller I thought it was the best. Boy was I wrong! Walking home today the stroller collapsed on my son! Thank goodness he was not hurt, just a little scared. Do Not Buy this stroller, if you have it, TAKE IT BACK! This stroller is the worst!!!Chicco replaced my stroller with a newer model that has a saftey bar on it.

Stroller collapsed,

If you are considering this stroller - please reconsider your decision. My husband and I bought this stroller for our then six month old. It seemed perfect, just as all the other reviews stated. I loved it because it was lightweight, had a five-point harness and reclined.Just this past weekend, we were out with my now 11 month old baby and the stroller suddenly collapsed. Luckily my daughter wasn't in it at the time. Again, just as some of the other negative reviews said there is a flaw in the design of the stroller. One of the bolts came off the stroller and we couldn't find it. Without this bolt the stroller is unusable. I did call Chicco USA and they will send me another one free of charge, but I don't want another one. My daughter might be in it the next time the bolt falls off. The Babies R Us won't take it back since it's over 90 days old. DON'T buy this stroller it is not safe.

I bought this stroller as a lightweight, travel-ready alternative to my Peg Perego Venezia. It had everything I was looking for, feature-wise, and more! I LOVED the fact that the visor can snap on and off so that you can position it whereever you want, vertically, along the bars leading to the handles. However, that awesome visor gets bent (permanently) VERY easily. I think you'd be o.k. if you took it off every time you wanted to fold up the stroller, but who wants to do that? When I returned it at Babies R Us, we found that the floor model also had a bent hood. I ended up exchanging it for the Chicco Caddy.

DON'T BUY, DON'T BUY, DON'T BUY. WARNING-WARNING-WARNING.I thought it necessary to write a review on this chicco product. I initially was going "to do" the maclaren thing but thought I was being sucked in and name conscious. While shopping for a lightweight and more appropriate stroller for my daughter (12 months at the time), someone suggested the maclaren compatable. I agreed, and the reviews were good in May 2003. It is pretty lightweight, attractive, easy to fold, stains wash out easily, affordable, etc., etc. etc. HOWEVER DON'T BUY. DON'T BUY. DON'T BUY. DANGEROUS.DANGEROUS.DANGEROUS. The horrible reviews are more than true. I LOVED THE STROLLER. At some point the stroller began to sag. It appeared that it was no longer locking good enough WHEN OPENED--a device on the side of the stroller. I returned it and babiesrus mentioned a defect and believed that I was getting the now new and improved model. The same look. They exchanged it. I was happy. The same thing occured with this second stroller. I never had either stroller more than 3/4 months. This time the sagging didn't affect the use of the stroller like before. Using the sagging stroller wasn't the end of the world. I really liked this stroller. Being a city dweller coming up a flight of stairs in the trainstation and resting on the platform,

This stroller is head and shoulders above the cheapo umbrella strollers you get for $10, and Chicco makes you pay for it.Plus side: RED! Why is dark blue so popular? Are there no other parents who have to walk a cranky child at night? Big wheels! nice traction, even in several inches of snow. Not bumpy, no pulling, easy to steer with one hand. And oh, the CANOPY! Gone forever are the postage stamp sized ones that shade part of the sidewalk instead of your child. Fully adjustable, any direction. Easy straps! Use the belt, or the shoulders, or both. Basket! the pocket on the bottom is a nice size. Not as large as one of those SUV strollers, but great for long walks, even on decent dirt trails. The back adjusts easily to many angles, as does the leg platform. Rain top! Comes with it, oh yes. Stores in the pocket. Minus side: Price. Price. Price. Also, who invented the locking mechanism? Rube Goldberg? Very secure, but takes a while to get the hang of it. Bottom line: once we got this thing, we dumped our "travel system" stroller *and* our mini umbrella stroller. We will NEVER go back. Did I mention the CANOPY?

I thought that this stroller was a very nice looking stroller. And the fact that it was an umbrella stroller that reclined sounded very nice for me and my 1 year old son, well looks can be decieving. My son at the time weighed 22lbs and we had the stroller for about two months when it gave out. While my son was sleeping one of the screws on the legs POPPED OUT AND THE STROLLER CAVED IN!!! if you dont havge someone with you at all times to help get your child out than i would not suggest this one.
