We got this toy as a gift and it turns out to be the biggest hit. Turn it on and the fussing stops! He plays with it all the time. The music is really clear and the songs are a good choice. He likes to pet the the soft ears too. I highly recommend this toy.

Like that it plays pieces like Ave Maria and others and it doesn't just run for 30 sec and stops. The tune goes on for some time and then moves on to the next piece so I don't have to keep pressing it to get it going again. Easy to install using tie-strings, runs on 3x AA. Can't adjust the volume on this one so that's the one thing I'd ask to change on it.

I ordered this toy over the Fisher Price and other crib pianos because it looked in the picture like it was totally encased in fabric. It turns out it is not--it has a hard plastic back like the others. I am overall pleased with the toy. The piano sounds are good, and my 8-month-old daughter likes the puppy face a lot. However, the thought of using it as a kicking piano tied to the crib without some sort of protection is ludicrous. My daughter kicks hard, and the finish on the hardwood crib would be destroyed in no time.
