Best Lightweight, July 24, 2004
I needed a compact, lightweight stroller that we could take with us when we travel by plane. This model is perfect. It is very light and easy to operate. The seat reclines by clicking to levers on either side into the desired position and you can just push it up to adjust it so your baby can sit. The snap on canopy has pretty good cover, although its peek thru window only allows you to see your child when they are fully reclined. Otherwise you'll be looking into the basket. the leg rest is adjustable as well. The seat is lightly padded and much comfier that other umbrella strollers (better padded than the Maclaren). The basket only holds 10 lbs. but I manage to fit quite a bit under. I can fit two or three bags of groceries underneath as long as they aren't too heavy. The front and back wheels can be locked. It steers very well and the ride isn't too bumpy. I can also push one handed. The handles aren't adjustable but neither my husband or I have any problems with them. He's 5'11 and I am 5'5. The stroller holds 33 lbs and since my daughter is only 21 lbs at 20 months old I'll be using this stroller for a while. The only thing that I don't like is the rain cover. When it is on the stroller my daughter has no room to stretch her legs and she constanly fights to get it off. It does strap on and won't fly off but i usually leave the bottom unclipped so my daughter can dangle her feet out. I leave her barefoot so her shoes won't get wet and she seems ok like that but in the winter this won't be possible. She'll have long pants on and those will get wet. I planned on using this only for vacation but my daughter loves iso much that it has replaced our other two. I'll only take out the larger one when I plan on carrying a lot of packages since the basket on this is lightweight. This stroller is a good buy, better than most similar sized strollers and with many good featues. People have complained about other Chicco strollers falling apart but since I've only had this a few weeks I can't be sure of its durability. So far , so good.

Awsome Stroller, great price, October 5, 2004
I have to say I am pretty impressed with this stroller. I like so many other moms was trying to find a light weight stroller with options like the big travel system. I love my Graco that is big and huge, but it is big and huge and heavy and takes up my whole trunk.
So I started my search. Should I go cheap and by am umbrella stroller, should get the McClaren, should I get the Combi? Should I pay over $250 for a STROLLER?
I came up with no to all those answers. I went to BRU and really spent some time looking into these and I found the Chicco to be the best.
It has a great recline, a decent basket for a diaper bag, the handles don't connect so I can put my son't back pack over them (makes access to it really easy), it doesn't feel like it is going to fall apart like the Combi (my second choice) and if you get the stoller accessory kit from Prince Lionheart (around $15) you get a drink holder and little snack holder for the baby (my son loves his snackies).
I think this is the best stroller out there under $100. Plus I used my BRU 15% off coupon and that cut another $11 off the price.
It took me a good week to decide which to buy, but I really feel I have made the right choice.

Best item I've bought for my baby, January 14, 2005

I have been so happy with this stroller. I had a nice mid-sized stroller, but I needed a good lightweight stroller as well. I went through several other lightweight strollers before getting the chicco. They were all so flimsy, and the handles were so low that I was always hunching over the stroller. My husband finally told me to just break down and buy an expensive stroller, and I was about to buy a Maclaren when I found this stroller. I liked it so much better than the low end Maclaren stroller and it was way less expensive. When I got it home and took it out of the box I was shocked to find that it was almost completely assembled for me already. The first time I used it I found that it handles like a dream, it's skinny enough to maneuver through small aisles in stores, the handles were plenty tall enough for my 5'10" self, my daughter is very comfortable in it, and after a little practice I can open and close it with one hand. The only negative comment I've seen people make is that the basket is small and hard to get to, which is true. However, I've figured out that the stroller is sturdy enough that I can hang by diaper bag and whatever shopping bags I have right off the handles. I would highly recommend this stroller to any active mom or dad. In fact, when two people in my playgroup saw my stroller they liked it so well that they went out and bought one themselves!
