Best Lightweight,

This review is from: Chicco Tuscany Stroller (Baby Product)
I needed a compact, lightweight stroller that we could take with us when we travel by plane. This model is perfect. It is very light and easy to operate. The seat reclines by clicking to levers on either side into the desired position and you can just push it up to adjust it so your baby can sit. The snap on canopy has pretty good cover, although its peek thru window only allows you to see your child when they are fully reclined. Otherwise you'll be looking into the basket. the leg rest is adjustable as well. The seat is lightly padded and much comfier that other umbrella strollers (better padded than the Maclaren). The basket only holds 10 lbs. but I manage to fit quite a bit under. I can fit two or three bags of groceries underneath as long as they aren't too heavy. The front and back wheels can be locked. It steers very well and the ride isn't too bumpy. I can also push one handed. The handles aren't adjustable but neither my husband or I have any problems with them. He's 5'11 and I am 5'5. The stroller holds 33 lbs and since my daughter is only 21 lbs at 20 months old I'll be using this stroller for a while. The only thing that I don't like is the rain cover. When it is on the stroller my daughter has no room to stretch her legs and she constanly fights to get it off. It does strap on and won't fly off but i usually leave the bottom unclipped so my daughter can dangle her feet out. I leave her barefoot so her shoes won't get wet and she seems ok like that but in the winter this won't be possible. She'll have long pants on and those will get wet. I planned on using this only for vacation but my daughter loves iso much that it has replaced our other two. I'll only take out the larger one when I plan on carrying a lot of packages since the basket on this is lightweight. This stroller is a good buy, better than most similar sized strollers and with many good featues. People have complained about other Chicco strollers falling apart but since I've only had this a few weeks I can't be sure of its durability. So far , so good.

Awsome Stroller, great price,

I have to say I am pretty impressed with this stroller. I like so many other moms was trying to find a light weight stroller with options like the big travel system. I love my Graco that is big and huge, but it is big and huge and heavy and takes up my whole trunk.
So I started my search. Should I go cheap and by am umbrella stroller, should get the McClaren, should I get the Combi? Should I pay over $250 for a STROLLER? I came up with no to all those answers. I went to BRU and really spent some time looking into these and I found the Chicco to be the best. It has a great recline, a decent basket for a diaper bag, the handles don't connect so I can put my son't back pack over them (makes access to it really easy), it doesn't feel like it is going to fall apart like the Combi (my second choice) and if you get the stoller accessory kit from Prince Lionheart (around $15) you get a drink holder and little snack holder for the baby (my son loves his snackies). I think this is the best stroller out there under $100. Plus I used my BRU 15% off coupon and that cut another $11 off the price. It took me a good week to decide which to buy, but I really feel I have made the right choice.

I have been so happy with this stroller. I had a nice mid-sized stroller, but I needed a good lightweight stroller as well. I went through several other lightweight strollers before getting the chicco. They were all so flimsy, and the handles were so low that I was always hunching over the stroller. My husband finally told me to just break down and buy an expensive stroller, and I was about to buy a Maclaren when I found this stroller. I liked it so much better than the low end Maclaren stroller and it was way less expensive. When I got it home and took it out of the box I was shocked to find that it was almost completely assembled for me already. The first time I used it I found that it handles like a dream, it's skinny enough to maneuver through small aisles in stores, the handles were plenty tall enough for my 5'10" self, my daughter is very comfortable in it, and after a little practice I can open and close it with one hand. The only negative comment I've seen people make is that the basket is small and hard to get to, which is true. However, I've figured out that the stroller is sturdy enough that I can hang by diaper bag and whatever shopping bags I have right off the handles. I would highly recommend this stroller to any active mom or dad. In fact, when two people in my playgroup saw my stroller they liked it so well that they went out and bought one themselves!

I was looking for something compact and inexpensive. Our travel system stroller is huge and fills up the entire trunk. So I bought this one and absoulutely love it. It is compact, easy and the roomy seat and leg rest option are great. I bought a cup holder to attach on and it works great. This stroller also reclines easy and will not wake up a sleeping baby. I love it and the price was right. I looked at other strollers with the same features, just had the brand name and they were $200.00! This one is great and would recommend to all parents with children of all ages. Great! Great! Great!

My husband and I had originally went to but the baby trent euro sport umbrella stroller but when we got there and saw this one, we loved it. We have had this stroller for a month now and we love it. Its easier to carry around with and it doesnt take much space in your car. Its also very lightweight. The only thing that i dont like very much is that the canopy doesnt fully cover my little one from the sun but other than that it is great and its very sturdy. I love the fact that it reclines and that the seat is padded. Overall, great stroller!

We went to BRU prepared to buy a Maclaren to take with us on our trip to Scotland (our other strollers are a Graco Chauffer and a Yakima Bettle Jogger). After comparing the Tuscany to the Maclaren models, we decided to give the Tuscany a shot. As far as options, it has many more "bells and whistles" than the less expensive Maclarens and most of the same options as the $289 model. Our daughter (8 mos.) loves this stroller, especially the bright colors and the fact that it can recline. The fabric is durable and padded for comfort. The foot rest is great for when baby is taking a nap. The stroller has held up well so far (some criticisms of prior Chicco strollers were that they fell apart after a few uses). Opens and closes relatively easily. The basket is functional, although its capacity and utility are reduced when the seat is reclined. It is as tall as the other "high-end" umbrella strollers (I'm 6', my wife is 5'8"). Overall, I would definitely recommend it. Look at its this way, you could go through 3 of these and still not have spent as much as the comparably equipped Maclaren.

We just bought 2 of the Tuscany strollers for our twin boys who are 18 months old. We previously used a heavy double stroller, and although it is still nice and will be used on occasion, these new Chicco's are the best! They are so lightweight and maneuver easily through lots of spaces. Our 7 year old daughter can push one with ease if I am out without my hubby. The fabric is very nice, padded and very durable. I have had no trouble at all with them and agree with the other reviewers that we could have spent a ton more on the pricier strollers, but this one is a steal at $79. I would recommend this stroller to anyone needing a lightweight, great looking stroller!

Only up to 33 lbs.,

Very nice replacement for the Chicco London (the one they made last year with all the great features, but unfortunately had quality issues with). Very good looking, durable fabrics, large sunshade, and adjustable leg rest. Whether it holds up better than its predecessor has yet to be seen (too early to tell). The biggest downfall I can find (and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars): it is only rated for children up to 33 lbs. If you have a smaller than average child, this might not be an issue. My child has always been off the growth charts, so it just won't do for us. We instead went with the Baby Trend Eurotrend, which has similar features, a lower price tag, and is suited for children up to 40 lbs. Good luck!

Awsome Stroller For Bus Riding Mommys,
By Lisa PickPick (Minneapolis, MN) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Chicco Tuscany Stroller (Baby Product)
I take the city bus most everywhere I go. So I was looking for a stroller that was lightweight and folded up small to make it easy getting on and off the bus. I was also looking for a stroller that reclined so my son could sleep comfortably on long rides, or shopping trips. I tried several strollers including the Chicco Caddy stroller. The caddy was a very nice stroller but didn't recline as much as I wanted and the one i purchased was the model without the basket. Then I found the Tuscany. Living in Minnesota, the weather sheild is awsome. For windy falls, snowy winters and rainy days anytime, its perfect. The hood is awsome. And I have found that if you unvelcroe it from each side, as long as the seat isnt fully reclined, it can go forward. So you can always keep the sun out of babies face. It is very sturdy. I love it and I would recommend it to everyone. Oh and as far as not having a cupholder, get a prince lion***** system. It works VERY well on the tuscany. :)

BEST AROUND,
This review is from: Chicco Tuscany Stroller (Baby Product)
I bought a Graco travel system before our baby was born. It's terrible. Far too bulky, difficult to fold down, yada yada. I couldn't hate it more. On a trip to Chicago, we found this gem. It's amazing. It's far more sturdy than the Peg Perego models. After test driving all the strollers in the store, this one was the best. The wheels are smooth, it has a 5 point harness, it reclines, it comes with a rainshade as well as a canopy which can be taken off and repositioned. I was initally looking at the MacLaren and found that it didn't come close to comparing. The MacLaren did not have any shade at all and since we live in Hawaii, it's a necessity. The stroller is light, folds easily and will fit in any car. I completely recommend it.
