I am so glad I found this video. When I was a kid growing up in Ohio in the 1960's we used to listen to the 45 record of Chicken Fat in Gym class all the time and we all loved it. It was really because of Chicken Fat that I became interested in fitness. Today I own a gym for both children and adults and have begun to use Chicken Fat for my Kid class's and they love it. The Mom's and Dad's join in also so it's a lot of fun. I highly recommend this video to all.

I Can't believe I found this video. I remember doing this every day in gym when I was a kid (way back in the 60's). WE used a 45 rpm record then. We all loved doing the exercises back then and now my kids love doing it with me. The video is very well made and really captures the spirit of the song.

Two other kindergarten classes join mine on rainy and cold days to exercise with Chicken Fat. The kids really like the regimen set to music in this video much better than doing exercises outdoors to my count. There is a first set of exercises, a rest section where children learn what each exercise does for the body, and then a lighter set of exercises follow.

There is no pressure and the kids have a good time with this video.

Was delighted to find this video, remember Chicken fat fondly from Junior High days, This is a great workout for those of you who tend not to want to give much time or commitment. I do it with my 10 year old son, lots of great cardio vascular excercise.

Having said all that, wished you could hear more of the song, and while the video is billed as 26 minutes, there is only about 15 minutes of actual excercise, and that includes a cool-down mid-way. Still was a great help to my New Years resolution of doing some kind of activity everyday, and because it is quick, is easy to find time for.

My kids and I love working out together.It's great fun and helps us bond and Chicken Fat is the best fun yet. My sister told us about it so we figured we give it a try.I recommend it to all.

MY 5 and 7 year old always ask me to put on Chicken Fat. It is a great change from video games.

I really love this video. It really has it all; a great song to sing along to,great exercises and is so much fun. My kids get home from school and can't wait to watch and exercise to Chicken Fat. It's great to see them have so much fun.

I find this a great way to motivate my kids to learn about health and fitness and exercise. I just let them do the exercise routine at their own pace and they really love it.

I remember this from elementary school in the 1960's.What a riot. I used to love this so I bought it for my kids and they love it too. This is to good to pass up,give it a try.A great workout to a great exercise routine with a great song.

When I watched this video before introducing it to the kids I felt a bit disappointed, but I was wrong. The children love it. I have used this video with my daycare and with my grandkids, and they are up exercising everytime. They do marching, jumping jacks, situps, arm circles, pushups, waistbends, etc... It's old fashioned, but well worth the money. Did I say they love the song too. Great for children ages 18 months to about 8 years old.
