More About the Author

Hi, I'm Heather Richardson and I'm the author of the best selling cookbook 'Chicken Recipes To Die For'. I have enjoyed cooking for as long as I can remember - right from the early days of when my Mum would let me loose in the kitchen to come up with some 'interesting' creations. Some of my earliest efforts should probably have carried an official Government Health Warning, but I'm pleased to say that through trial and error and plenty of practice my family now prefers my home cooking to restaurant food any time!

When I'm deciding what to cook the most important factors to me are that the meals provide good nutrition, are not costly to make, and of course that they taste delicious. This was the inspiration behind my 'Chicken Recipes To Die For' book, and I will be following on with a series of books to include many of my other delicious recipes featuring different main ingredients.

I hope you enjoy using these recipes as much as I do, and that your family and friends give you their 'seal of approval' every time. I'd love to know which recipes are your favourites, so check out my website at www.recipestodiefor.org for my contact page.

Happy cooking!

Heather Richardson

This cookbook has so much going for it:

*53 recipes from a wide range of cuisines.
*All the recipes are from scratch using whole ingredients - major points!
*Several recipes include the option of using meat from a roasted chicken - major time-saver!
*Each recipe has a high-quality, appealing photograph.
*The recipes are clearly and cleanly written.

I've prepared recipes similar to nearly every recipe in this cookbook, and they read very well.

The formatting is very nice EXCEPT recipes do not begin on their own page. I find it disconcerting when the title of a recipe appears at the bottom of one page and the recipe begins on the next.

I have an issue with one recipe.

The Chicken Gumbo recipe calls for chorizo. There are two types of chorizo. Many Americans might think this means Mexican-style chorizo, which is a raw uncured sausage, sometimes extremely greasy, that is fried up like ground beef and served alongside scrambled eggs. This type of chorizo would ruin the gumbo. The other type, sometimes referred to as 'Basque-style chorizo,' is a dried and cured hard sausage. This would be more suitable, but still, the correct type of sausage to use in this dish would be Andouille sausage. However, if Andouille sausage were not available, Basque-style chorizo would be the next best option. As for the rice - a Cajun would drop his beer and fall off his riding lawnmower if you told him to put Basmati and wild rice in gumbo! Long-grain American white rice is what is normally used. :)

Overall a delightful cookbook and I have already emailed friends and family to tell them to grab it while it is still free on Kindle.

I like how author does not stop at one style of cooking and intent is to give a world tour of best chicken recipes that each style of cousine can offer. Ingredients are not that hard to get, instruction is well written. Another similar, good book you must get is 30 Tasty & Easy Chicken Breast Recipes (With Illustrations, Calories and Nutrition Data) 2nd Edition. specifically for great chicken breasts recipes.

If you love chicken you need this book. It has some fantistic recipes in it and they are all easy to make and the directions are easy to follow. I know the recipe for Beer Can Chicken is awesome because I've made it. I've also used an almost identical recipe for the Chicken Fried Rice and it is excellent. I'm looking forward to trying the recipes in this book, especially the Lemon Chicken.

This is a must-have book for anyone who loves to try new recipes and keep life simple at the same time.

Well I must say this is one of the best buys I have made in a long time. Easy to follow and wonderful recipes! I liked them and so did the kids and they are the hardest to please, so I will be looking out for more books by this author in future.

A neat cookbook that actually is close to real book length as opposed to chapters that most Kindle cookbooks are.

IT HAS A PHOTO FOR EVERY RECIPE. If you follow my reviews, the lack of pics in cookbooks is my
biggest rant. I would never purchase a print cookbook without pics and yet my detractors beat me
up for this. I stand unabashed and say HURRAY for this cookbook. The only reason that I gave it
4 rather than 5 stars is that there is no nutritional info on the recipes which is the only thing that
I could fault other than the spotty formatting.

The reviewer is the author of the new Kindle book entitled: Sex Education for Adults
Secrets To Amazing Sex and Happily Ever After Too
