This is a video that walks you through this fun Klutz book. My boys both love this activity book where you make you own pop bead critters. We took it on a plane trip, and I really appreciated having it with us. My children ( 4 and 7 year old boys )enjoyed playing with pets they made. Then of course you get to take them apart and remake them in different colors or configurations.

The only thing I failed to warn you about in the video is the wire end of the spiral binding which will catch on and create a pull in carpet. Other than this minor nuisance it is a wonderful activity and toy set.

A neighbor gave my daughter this "bead" book. She spent hours making necklaces and creatures. She started to create patterns with the colors and shapes, which I thought was terrific. The book has pictures of all the creatures you can make and my daughter had a lot of fun making them all.

Pop Bead Critters are great fun, there are several different types of animal bodies and you just add pop beads to make them into something else. Three caterpillar bodies, a blue dog and two strange spidery sort of things. The pop beads come in several different types from round to oval to hexagonal.

There is a lovely brightly illustrated book to go with it with lots more ideas to give inspiration. It has given my two pre-schoolers hours and hours of fun. they play games with them, make necklaces, make decorations for the Christmas tree and more.

What I love about these is they are brightly coloured and easy to use. They are recommended for over 3 year olds because of choking hazards, but you will be able to supervise slightly younger children with them. Excellent for teaching counting and early maths skills such as patterning. They are great for fine motor skills.

A fabulous present for your kids - get them the pop bead people as well!

perfect fit for small hands...i have a 2,3, and 4 year old who love to play with small figures...this was the perfect little crafty toy ...lets them use their imagination...very good purchase !!

I bought this to use at my school with students for finger strength and coordination. These beads are a little bit easier to use than the others that I have so even the younger students are able to use the book and beads. Some of the animal body parts are larger so some students who would not normally be able to manipulate pop beads are able to at least use the larger beads. The book is cute and helpful when having the kids replicate the patterns with the beads. This is my best "therapy equipment" purchase this year. All the kids I have used it with have loved it.

Ordered this book for my 4-year old, and it is awesome! Lots of little beads to create all sorts of creations ... seems to be very good for fine motor skills ... he loves it. I recommend this for children that are old enough not to put the beads in their mouth because the beads are on the smaller side. Great product!

This is a great book! My four-year old grandson sharpens his small-motor coordination, while making the little critters, as well as necklaces and bracelets for adults to wear. There are also pages where he can lay beads down in a pattern, then continue the pattern on his own. It's good pre-literacy and math preparation.

My 5 yr old received this for her 5th birthday and absolutely loves it and so do all her little friends. The only drawback is that I wish you could buy more pieces separately. Great gift!

My daughter is 2 and a half and I was looking for new activities to keep her occupied on a recent family vacation that I knew would have multiple dinners out at restaurants. This set caught my eye and it is a fantastic toy! I brought this set out at dinner one night as we were waiting for our food. All the little beads immediately caught my daughter's attention as did the fun pictures or "instructions" on animals she could make. Most importantly, she was able to snap the beads together by herself. She worked on her bead creations through the entire dinner, stopping only to pop some food in her mouth. It got us a nice hour of a peaceful dinner...and in the toddler world 1 hour is forever! I highly recommend this bead kit.
