This ought to go without saying, but apparently some people need the obvious stated for them: Don't buy this book for any child who isn't old enough to put caps on their markers and only draw on paper.

This isn't a regular coloring book - every page has suggestions to "highlight the YELLOW grass with the BLUE to see what happens!" or to "highlight only those things that don't belong". As always with Klutz books, the artwork is superb. I'm definitely putting this on my "standard issue birthday present" list for the year.

Want to occupy your 3-4 year old? Give him or her this book. The star shaped marker is perfect for chubby little hands, and has multiple colors, and the pictures are entertaining and easy for little ones to color. When was the last time the kids were allowed to color in a book? This is a GREAT gift or just a little past time, and once the book is done, the marker lives on to color again and again.

My son loves to play with these books on trips and at home. Unlike some of the other books, once this one is colored, it is done - but it still can provide a few hours of entertainment.

This is such a great product...perfect for using in the car. Klutz really does come up with the best ideas!

I buy these books for children's gifts all the time. Check to be sure that they're age appropriate and buy with no remorse. Overall these books will inspire crafty tendancies in the giftee and allow for countless hours of fun! They provide the basic materials to follow some set out crafts and ideas to pursue on the childs own if they wish.

This product consists of one 5 sided highlighter and the book. The highlighter works well, but the book is basically a coloring book. My daughter used it some, but was not as thrilled as she usually is by the klutz books.

NOT YET RECEIVED THE PRODUCT. I'M WAITING TO GET THERE AND I THINK THAT IS ALREADY taking too long. I HAVE TO BUY ME THE FORGOTTEN ...

This is a great "coloring" book with a twist. The minor bad part is trying not to get cut when opening the thick plastic cover for the highlighters.

I got this as one of the distractions for a 6 hour airplane ride. Although my 2 1/2 year old daughter loved it, it was not the best thing for her. She only wanted to take ALL the caps off at one time and hold it. Unfortunately, she was unable to put the caps back on by herself so this became a messy project. Better for older kids!!
