The most inspirational book I have ever read,
By A Customer
This review is from: Chicken Soup for the Christian Teenage Soul: Stories to Open the Hearts of Christian Teens (Chicken Soup for the Soul) (Paperback)
I never write reviews, but everyone needs to know how wonderful and what an impact this book can have on a person. I am not a very religious person, but I picked up this book and found, that being religious or not had nothing to do with enjoying and appreciating this book. I LOVED IT and could relate so much thank you KIMBERLY KIRBERGER, once again.

The minute I started reading this book I couldn't put it down. As an reader of the Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul series I was blown away by this particular book. I found it inspiring and moving, making me laugh and even cry. I recommend it to any teenager who wants to feel more connected to Christianity and regain their sense of faith.

The "Test" was great!,
By Reed Niemi (BayArea) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Chicken Soup for the Christian Teenage Soul: Stories to Open the Hearts of Christian Teens (Chicken Soup for the Soul) (Paperback)
I really thought that the story about cheating, "The Test", was a valuable lesson for all students, regardless of faith. The structure and craftsmanship was equisite. Over all, I am tiring of this series but have alot of hope for it now. Well done, Ms. Ayers and Canfield/Hansen of course.Once again, this series has made an outstanding contribution to the lives of people everywhere. In these troubled times, it is truly a blessing that this thoughtful volume has been provided for Christian teens everywhere. The reason why this series has struck such a chord with readers across generations is the feeling of authenticity it generates within readers. My only criticism is that some of the stories sometimes seem a bit formulaic. A striking exception is found in the story "The Test", which involves the dilemma of a student who cheats on a school exam. The narrative pulls off the rare combination of being impecably written while still ringing true with its audience. As someone who works with young people on a regular basis, I know it will inspire my students for years to come. Thank you.

Book Review:
Chicken Soup for the Christian Teen Soul Coryn Henson 7th 5/19/05 This book is so awesome. I love a lot it's one of my favorites! It's short stories are definitely page turner and I would recommend it to anyone. The stories are constantly talking about inspiration and hope. It doesn't matter your belief or religion it's still a good book and has good advice for anyone. The poems and stories and occasional bible verses really taught to believe in myself and to be confident and to appreciate life. I hope you enjoy reading and appreciating the meaningfulness of this book and if you enjoyed this book then you might enjoy reading Chicken Soup for the Christian Soul. There pretty similar but it's for all ages!

I absolutely love all chicken soup books and this one was equally amazing. I thought that Chicken Soup for the Christian Teenage Soup was very well written. The stories were very realistic and I think that anyone could relate to them. It covered everyday issues like school, family, friends, and just faith in general. In short this book is very heartwarming and can be read by most everyone.

I read a story a night from this book after we read devotions at the dinner table. We all love the stories. Some of the stories our sad and make you think. Some are funny like the Lesson in Lavendar story which is one of our favorites on Compassion and Forgiveness. This story just happened to fit right with our Devotion readings from Sticky Situations 2 another great book. The book is geared for teens but we all can relate to the stories and enjoy them.

"Chicken Soup" Books Make Great Gifts,
By
This review is from: Chicken Soup for the Christian Teenage Soul: Stories to Open the Hearts of Christian Teens (Chicken Soup for the Soul) (Paperback)
I have to start by saying that I love the "Chicken Soup" books.
There are soooo many out there for so many different types of people. I bought this book as a gift for a family member. I couldn't help but read some of the stories before wrapping it. I may not be a teenager anymore, but reading the stories helped me remember to when I was. I think this book is not only great for teenagers, but perhaps the parents of teenagers as well.

I have yet to read a bad Chicken Soup book, and this one is no exception. The nice mix of stories make for an entertaining and interesting read, and there are life lessons to be gained from reading every single story.
This book is not just for teens. Anyone who loves Chicken Soup type stories will enjoy this book. It tugs at the heart strings and is a book you'll want to re-read again and again.

I love to see that there are books out there that can help our children and teens bring God into their lives on a daily basis. For parental inspiration check out my new book. A nice companion for us during these challenging years of raising teens!

There are some stories that are very touching and exciting. Most stories controlled my mood throughout up and down, gasping and crying and laughing. It's definitely for all teenage Christians out there, and it's great for non-Christian teens too. I'm not trying to advertise anything, but the idea of this book is very similar to Stories for the Extreme Teen's Heart by Alice Gray, and I would prefer Alice Gray's book slightly more.
