I feel that for the age category, these stories are too old for this age group. Most of them seem to be geared for those over ten plus. I had another mother complain about the same thing.

My 7 year old son loves these stories! He really loves the fact that they are real and I really love the fact that they subtly teach lessons of character. He is always thrilled when I pull this book out to read another story or two...and to be honest, I enjoy them just as much!

I bought this book for my 9 year old son after having borrowed it from the library. He and I read it together. We talk about what he would do if he were in a situation like the ones in the book. I think it is a great way of teaching your child how to be a good person.

All the Chicken Soup books are inspirational. I got this book for my daughter, age 10, at the recommendation of her teacher and I'm really glad I did. There are 101 stories, most just a page or two and this made reading it very easy for my daughter. I've got the Chicken Soup book for golfers and I love it.

I absolutely love this book! In our family, we own several of the 'Chicken Soup' books. They are all just what they say they are. Our children love them, plus as parents we get to spend quality time with our children as we read together. We also love the idea that these books are exposing our children to what really counts in life - Love, character, integrity, courage, forgiveness. I could go on and on. Get on board with this book and the other ones in the Chicken Soup series, you'll love them too!
