5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read for Mommies Everywhere
From the moment i read the first story in this book, i was taken aback by its enlightening stories and humoristic style. Nickless takes the Chicken Soup series a step further with stories that not only teach, but also have the uncanny ability to make fun of the trials of being a mom of a little one. Any mother of a preschooler who reads this book will know she is not...

1.0 out of 5 stars Pushing Christian Agenda
I thought from the discription (which was misleaing) that this was a book for mothers of pre-schoolers. This is actually a book, specifically for MOPS a christian group who go by the same name. Therefore the title is a misnomer. I have read 15 or 20 stories and ALL of them have been about God or refered to God and or "church". If you happen to be Christian, maybe this is...

5.0 out of 5 stars Moms, you will survive, October 15, 2008
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Chicken Soup for the Mothers of Preschooler's Soul: Stories to Refresh the Soul and Rekindle the Spirit of Moms of Little Ones (Chicken Soup for the Soul) (Paperback)
Bought this book for my daughter who has two preschoolers and sometimes wonders if she will make it through the day. With the short-story format she can read as much or as little as time (or sleep) allows. It is an encouraging book for Moms and lets them know that they are not alone in this business of child rearing. Other Moms face the same trials and joys and yes, you will survive.

5.0 out of 5 stars Chicken Soup at its Best!, May 3, 2006
This review is from: Chicken Soup for the Mothers of Preschooler's Soul: Stories to Refresh the Soul and Rekindle the Spirit of Moms of Little Ones (Chicken Soup for the Soul) (Paperback)
There is no doubt that Chicken Soup books were written with busy moms in mind. Offering small doses of inspiration, hope and simple smiles, Maria Nickless never fails to reach editorial perfection - but this one is a masterpiece.

If you are a mother of young children, don't miss these comforting confessions from mothers just like you who love, laugh, flounder and forge ahead through the fabulous journey of motherhood.

5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!, May 3, 2006
This review is from: Chicken Soup for the Mothers of Preschooler's Soul: Stories to Refresh the Soul and Rekindle the Spirit of Moms of Little Ones (Chicken Soup for the Soul) (Paperback)
As a Mom of a preschooler (and three others under 10 years), I generally don't have time to myself, much less sit and read. This book caught my eye though - filled with short stories that I can relate to. I find myself picking it up in between laundry or lunch and reading one or two stories at a time - at the end, smiling because I've been there or learned something new! I think any Mom - currently with a preschooler or even an older child - would really enjoy taking a little time to read these stories - you (we as Mom's) deserve it! It's a great way to treat yourself!

5.0 out of 5 stars REFRESHING and MOVING TENDER STORIES, April 11, 2006
This review is from: Chicken Soup for the Mothers of Preschooler's Soul: Stories to Refresh the Soul and Rekindle the Spirit of Moms of Little Ones (Chicken Soup for the Soul) (Paperback)
Chicken Soup for the Mother of Preschooler's Soul is a testament to loving memories. Each story is told from the heart and transposes the reader into special moments of their own. Maria Nickless, along with Jack Canfield, Mark Victor Hansen and Carol McAdoo Rehme pulls it together with finesse and class. You keep writing them...I'll keep reading them!

5.0 out of 5 stars "The Race" by Natalie Bright, April 10, 2006
This review is from: Chicken Soup for the Mothers of Preschooler's Soul: Stories to Refresh the Soul and Rekindle the Spirit of Moms of Little Ones (Chicken Soup for the Soul) (Paperback)
I absolutely loved this book. Such fond mememories of rearing my own daughters; and what a treasure in Casey Bright's view of life. I agree totally ... fish crackers for everyone every day. The years between fish crackers and wedding cakes are very short indeed, plus every little boy should have a mom they want to marry! Every mom and granny should run out and get "Chicken Soup Mother of Preschooler's Soul". A winner!
