I bought this book on vacation and read many items to my husband as we drove around the countryside. I have heard of some of these things before and was surprised by many. I am glad to have a written source to refer to and am looking forward to reading the next volume. I am buying copies for my daughters and mother for Christmas.

I recommend both of these author's books. Other reading is Secret Food Cures & Doctor Approved Folk Remedies. Both are well written and entertaining!
