If you are over 50 and challenge yourself to stay healthy, lose weight, eat right, and exercise, you will find inspirational stories in this latest CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL.
You will read stories of real individuals who make small changes to make a big difference. Women who used exercise and nutrition to help with menopause, and how to use positive thinking in your life to influence your health.

Growing older does not mean life has to become harder. With the right attitude and information, you can be all you want to be. I believe this book can give you some inspiration to take you on your journey to better health and the you, that you want to become.

While I am only in my 30's I was very inspired by this book. To see how these women pushed and challenged themselves, it is amazing. I feel like I no longer can make excuses for myself as these women are all older than me - age is no excuse! Some of the women ran marathons in their 50s and 60s, while I can't even run around the block! I actually re-read a few stories as I was so impressed by these women and how they succeeded or at least tried in their goals! In addition to the short stories there is even some actual medical advice. This is also a smaller book than traditional Chicken Soup books.

Ver well written and easy to follow. Great suggestions as to how to integrate new ways of eating and exercising into your every day life, and highlights the benefits that even small amounts of weight loss can have in your overall health.

As a middle aged woman fighting the battle of the bulge, this book is entertaining, funny and supportive. I would encourage anyone who is having weight issues to read this non-diet book.

I am well over fifty and always on the lookout for suggestions to improve my health and energy. I am not overweight. This book is only for the overweight and not particularly helpful at that. It consists primarily of personal success stories of women who somehow found the motivation to lose weight (no clear indication of how to get to that point) and how that improved their sense of wellbeing.
