As you may know, some of the "NEW" chicken soup books are recycled stories garnered from other chicken soup books. And the book is a pure rip off! However, this particular book consisted of stories that were refreshingly NEW. As an avid Chicken Soup fan, I give it a thumbs up! However, WATCH out for the new titles with 101 stories. They are recycled from other books and if you have a full collection, you are just buying the same thing TWICE!

I suppose I'm partial being one of the author's, but these stories really brought back and enriched my Catholic Faith. The stories about Catholic school brought back memories. While others reinforced the love and belief of my faith. I hope your hearts and souls will become as fullfilled as mine when you read these beautiful stories.

What a lovely gift, for such a small price. In a time when we all need to see how others get through challenges in life, this is a gift of hope to share with family and friends. It truly is Chicken Soup for the Soul.

I've always enjoyed "Chicken Soup for the Soul" books, but having a book devoted to my Catholic faith has been special and being included as an author an honor. The current stress of: a depressed economy, tragic wars, and increasing violence made me search for more answers beyond politics. I hope others will find this book as inspiring as I did and their faith even more meaningful.

I have to admit, I'm not catholic, I'm not relgious at all. I read a story from this collection titled "My Saturday Starfish" which I really liked. It's a meaningful story on an interpersonal level; it's all about interacting with kids who have no direction and trying to help them and believe what you're doing is good even when you can't see the results. And it's meaningful on a philosophical level...that faith need not be religious to be important to our lives. It's not an easy time for anyone now, so if you're looking for examples of how believing in yourself and good intentions have good consequences, this might be the book for you.

This anthology series once again brings us the kind of hilarious and heartwarming tales neighbors share with each other and their families. It is the very stuff family histories are made of. My favorite is "Unitiated Child" by Margo Berk-Levine.

I purchased this as a gift for my "impossible to buy for" mother-in-law and she loved it, now I'm the favorite daughter-in-law! Beautifully written, a must have for anyone of the Catholic faith.

The Chicken Soup series, no matter what your interests, pet-lovers,
teenagers, etc are great and inspiring.

I bought two books, one for my sister and one for myself. We both enjoy the stories, they are inspirational. Each story is no more than two pages long but leaves you with the need to reflect on what you have just read. Even when I have finished the book, I know I will go back to it when I need to feel uplifted.

When I read all the essays, tears came to my eyes. The stories are faith affirming, heart warming and reflect the universal journey of life filled with joy and sorrow and above all, love. I was amazed at the number of people from all over the country who share the same Catholic eperiences. I felt connected to them in an intimate way as if I'd always known them. It was truly an honor for me to be included in this book. I will always treasure my copy of it.
