I can still remember the first time I read a Chicken Soup for the Soul book. I was a teen at the time and I became addicted immediately. I love that the stories included have a positive meaning, even if some parts are sad. I also feel empowered when I finish and Christmas Magic was no exception. I really loved this book and I have decided to make it a Christmas tradition to read it every year around the holidays. This would make a fantastic gift!

These are sweet stories, not really tear jerkers or complicated. They are more like the stories that friends and family would tell of simple, sweet Christmas happenings.
These make nice memories - the sort of stories that bring out the true meaning of Christmas and a good life. They are indeed Christmas chicken noodle soup, nourishing and good for the soul too.

It was an excellent resourceful and study book. It helped me to enjoy and understand the class so much better.

I still have the book called Christan Faith. I bought it few years back. I think it was 98 or 99

Gave this to my Grandmother for Christmas and she loved it as passed it on to my Mother, who thought is was great!

I have not read the book because it is a Christmas book. I ordered it because it is a Chicken Soup book and they are all very good. It will enrich my devotional reading in December.

I Love Christmas! Who doesn't? I particularly love reading stories about strangers helping strangers on Christmas. Whether it is a mall Santa giving free pictures and toys to a young single Mother in need, or Christmas Carolers cheering up a lonely old man. Yes, these are both stories that are in this heartfelt edition of Chicken Soup for the Soul. Christmas Magic is one of my favorite Chicken Soup for the Souls. This book helped to remind me of the true spirit of Christmas during a very tight Holiday season.

I didn't really have a favorite section in this edition. My favorite stories are spread throughout the book. I was very pleased to see that this version also contained witty comics. In addition to the comics, there are great quotes at the beginning of each story (I wonder how long the Chicken Soup for the Soul authors spending looking for quotes! The quotes are always perfect for the stories and I have been known to copy a few of them down). I also want to mention that these books are well edited. Sometimes when you buy a collaboration book, the stories have incorrect spelling and awful grammar. The Chicken Soup for the Soul books are all great flowing with few (if any) errors or typos.

Anyways, this would be a great Christmas gift. It would be particularly great for someone who is really into Christmas or someone that is a scrooge and needs to be reminded what Christmas is really about. Just make sure you give it to them early so they can enjoy it throughout December!

Just what I hoped for and expected. Chicken Soup books are my favorite and this one was not a disappointment.

"Chicken Soup for the Soul: Christmas Magic" is a book all about holiday magic, traditions, inspiration and love. It is full of 101 stories told by people who have both good and bad stories revolving around Christmastime. It is a great book to read if you need an uplift during this stressful holiday time or just want to see how another family celebrated. The stories make my own family not so crazy! There are also stories that may make you tear up as they are sad but in the end they have a great inspirational tone to them. Its a great book to pick up and read a story or two and put it down.
