This book is well worth the money. It is filled with inspirational stories from many different authors. I was especially touched by the story "Kindred Spirits" by Sharron K. Cosby on page 96, as this is an area felt by so many people across our country today. It deals with the struggle of a family member being addicted to drugs and a mothers struggle trying to rescue her child. The scripture verses she used for reference give us all much hope in God rescuing our loved ones.
Chicken Soup for the Soul's Devotional Stories for Mothers includes stories written by mothers of all ages who share the challenges and joy of motherhood and how they've learned from and been inspired by their children. Each devotional is preceded by a Scripture verse that sets the tone for the story. An ending prayer allows mothers to reflect on motherhood and to be renewed as they continue this important calling. I'm honored to have a story included in this collection and have enjoyed reading about other mothers' experiences. This book would make the perfect gift for mothers of both grown and young children--a gift that will inspire for years to come.

Here she is one of many contributors --- and almost all of the stories here are wonderful! Buy this book for a dose of daily encouragement. If you're like me --- I often wonder if I'm failing as a parent and as a person. Maybe we all do?
