As a mom of three kids, a wife, a blogger and everything else I have to deal with daily, stress is something that is inevitable. I am constantly looking for ways to deal with stress. The new Chicken Soup for the Soul book "Say Goodbye to Stress" is a classic Chicken Soup book in terms of real life inspirational stories but it is smaller and includes actual medical advice for a healthier you. The advice is from Dr. Jeff Brown of Harvard Medical School. I found that reading the stories made me feel that I am not alone and the advice was perfect. Like I said too this book is smaller which makes it perfect to carry around with you for when you have time for a quick story. It would also be a perfect gift for someone struggling with something, dealing with a change, or really anyone since we all deal with stress at one point or another.

Being a blogger, a business owner with other daily issues I have instituted some of the techniques that Dr. Jeff Brown talks about and will be passing this book onto friends that need ways to chill out from stress! I never felt this way ,that there were people like me,from the time i read the first page i started doing things diffrent. Its for the do it all people like me who try to work,keep a clean house ,and take care of the kids. We cant do it all. Read it ,buy the book im learning.

When I ordered this book I was expecting the usual 101 inspirational stories, but this is not what the book contains. Upon reviewing the description given by Amazon, I should have realized it wouldn't. The book has 3 stories to introduce each chapter, but the rest of the chapter is general advice on reducing your stress. So although I am disappointed in the book, I am still giving it 4 stars, as I feel the advice given is well written. Just be aware of what you are getting.

This was a great book that brought together some wonderful practical tips on stress relief. The book is a bit different then many of the Chicken Soup for the Soul books that I have read in the past, but I have to say that I like it! The book brought together a great author that knows what he is talking about and the tips and ideas that he shares are easy to implement and make sense! I have to say that if you have stress in your life (and who doesn't) this would be a great book to read and to have as a part of your own library!

This book would definitely make a great gift for your stressed out friends and family. At the end of each story section is helpful advice to make your life less complicated and stress free. The stress scale (included in the book) is an invaluable tool and something we should all use to evaluate how we're doing in the stress department. Dr. Brown is a Harvard Medical professor and brings credibility to the subject with lots of practical advice. This book is destined to become a classic and should be required reading for everyone. The stories are great, but the free medical advice makes it a winner!

I received this book for free in return for my honest review.

Reading this book has made me feel kind of normal. It has helped me to figure out the steps that I need to take to reduce some of the stress in my life. It really comes down to wanting yourself to be happy. If you want to be happy and have less stress than you need to change your life to do it. It just won't happen and you can't solve all of the world's problems yourself. I think that is what is hard for me (and a lot of other people) to realize. No matter what we do - we can't do everything.

There are events that happen in our lives that can easily cause us to worry. Worrying, however, leads to other problems including sleepless nights and problems that can carry over into other areas of our lives.

In Chicken Soup for the Soul: Say Goodbye to Stress we are able to read how others are able to deal with such situations and what kept them inspired in the process.

Stress is something that I have personally dealt with, and I know how it can literally make you sick. What I really enjoyed about this book is that it reminded me of something that is so important for all of us: Trouble doesn't last always.

We can go through difficult situations and not have to live with them. If we are able to find a sense of perspective in our lives and put things in balance, we will be much better off.

There is also the calming effect of knowing that we are not the only one that is dealing with trouble. Difficulties will come for all of us, but we can definitely change the way they affect us and our day-to-day lives. If you ever needed a reminder of this, than this book is it.

Presented with care from beginning to end, CHICKEN SOUP FOR THE SOUL has definitely done it again.
