This book could not have came at a better for me, as I read it to get in the spirit of Valentines Day. It is an adorable book of 2-3 page stories that focus on love, dating, romance, and marriage. This book begins with an introduction from Kristi Yamaguchi (famous ice skater) and her hockey playing husband, telling how they met and fell in love. It was a nice way to start the book and showed that celebrities expierence the whole love, dating, and marriage thing just like the rest of us!


Throughout the book, I laughed and cried at all the tales that made me feel both relied that it didn't happen to me and surprised that I was also in the similar situation. The book makes you feel giddy inside and since it is real-life stories, it is not like a romance novel, just like two friends talking! I enjoyed reading a story here and there and picking it up to read all 101 stories!

I received this book to review, but it is 100% my opinion.

No matter your age, the stories in this edition touch your soul. I gave a copy to my 16-year-old grandson, and he wept as he read one of the stories, and he hooted with laughter at another. I entertained some elderly ladies for lunch and gave a copy, from which we read aloud some of the stories--my guests alternated between laughter and tears. One said, "I will have something wonderful to think about as I fall asleep tonight!" A must read.

I started this book before bed and I read for two hours before I forced myself to put it down. I was so heart-warming to read story upon story about the love between two people. Every one of us is different, yet so much the same. Some people dated for weeks, some for years, some had labeled themselves as 'never to be coupled.' Each writer brings us into his or her private, unique world in such a beautifully-written way. If you are someone, like me, who loves to ask people: "How did you two meet?" you will fall in love with this book. Perfect for Valentine's Day!

The thing I liked best about this book is that I never got bored with the stories. Each and every one was different and enjoyable, and each writer managed to shed fresh insight into the great mystery we call love. You'll be glad you did!

My wife and I have been married for 28 years. As an early Valentine's Day present, she gave me Chicken Soup for the Soul, True Love. Some of the stories I liked, but my favorite was called "Hello Again.' It was wonderful and reminded me that love is not just for the very young. We middle-agers still have a lifetime of romantic times ahead of us. Thanks for the reminder and the including this story in your collection.

Chicken soup has another winner with tales that make you laugh, think, and sometimes cry. It's perfect for quieting your heart and mind and enjoying the best of stories about the best relationships--lovers.

I'm not a Love book guy but some of these stories are quite funny. I like it because it's real people with real stories..... enjoy!!!!

Chicken Soup for the Soul: True Love: 101 Heartwarming and Humorous Stories about Dating, Romance, Love and Marriage is a great book. It contains so many "feel-good"stories of real men and women finding true love and romance. So many books create an unrealistic, even "mystical", view of falling in love that its refreshing to read about actual people finding the person of their dreams. Its a great read!

After my friend Toni sent me the link for this new book, I couldn't wait to read her story. She and Martin have one of the most heartwarming love stories. I personally met my husband on a blind date and we will be married 17 years this year. It is always so refreshing to hear dating and romance love stories in this day and time. I believe this is another successful "SOUP" recipe. I can't wait to read it.
