It's no surprise to me that Chicken Soup for the Soul: Messages from Heaven has become a national bestseller. This is a book filled with spiritual stories that will inspire and amaze you. There are ten chapters - To Heaven and Back, Miraculous Connections, Signs from Beyond, Dreams and Premonitions, An Angel Told Me, Love That Doesn't Die, Saying Goodbye, Heaven Sent, Messengers and Angels, and Answered Prayers - 101 true accounts of miracles, angels and answered prayers. Chicken Soup for the Soul: Messages from Heaven will renew your faith and have you recommending this book to your friends and loved ones. Once I picked it up, I couldn't stop reading it. It's that good!

One of my stories was published in this book, and I usually refrain from reviewing books that contain my work. That said, I found the stories in this book so amazing that I had to share. The stories are sweet and sad, yet full of hope. Many revolve around death, but all are positive in that they reveal glimpses of what exists beyond this world. I was amazed at how similar many of these stories are--giving hope that there is some type of positive experience we encounter after this life. If you have lost a loved one, or wonder what lies beyond this world, or are looking for a gift of hope for someone, this is the book for you. I have read many Chicken Soup books, but this one tops them all. I cannot recommend it enough.

This is an exciting, yet sad, and especially hope filled story. The writing is concise and informative. The
subject is one we will all have to deal with during our lives, unless we are the one to leave before our loved ones leave. The story gave me hope in the life to come and reassurance for this life. When we take our first breath, we exist for
all eternity. There is food for thought here, and much to take to meditation.

The stories are so special. Anyone who does not believe that we all have angels watching us should read these wonderful tributes to those that have crossed over to a much better place.

There is something about knowing that when you lose someone that there is still a part of them with you no matter where you are.

In Chicken Soup for the Soul's newest book MESSAGES FROM HEAVEN we are able to read stories of individuals who have been touched by those they lost, whether through a fond memory, a song or through something that seems to "just happen" to us.

As with other books that I have read in the series this one is about how God doesn't leave you in the lurch. It also reminds you that others know what it's like to love and lose someone dear to them and that we can learn something from the way they have handled their own grief.

This book is sure to give someone hope and comfort as they are going through their own sadness, but I believe it will also encourage you to share your own story so that it can help others.

Full of inspiration and something for everyone, this book reaches you where you are and offers you real-life solutions.

In 2011 I lost my mom and grandma 8 days a part from each other. It was horrible and we all went through a tough time. My husband and I were wondering around a book store and in very random places I found this book. I gave in I knew that my mom and grandma were sending a message. I did not have extra money, as is often true right now, but I had to have this book. I have not read all the way through, I cry reading it, but whenever I am missing my mom all I have to do is grab the book.

In short is you are missing a loved one that has passed on you need this book. It is helping me :)

I bought this book because I love Chicken Soup books, and I had three devastating loses in my life in the past five years (both parents and my older sister). I was hoping for a book of hope and the idea of a connection to the ones I had lost.

I found this book to be extremely depressing, and, sad to say, rather odd. Instead of reading stories I could relate to, the stories seem to be grasping for connection rather than describing one. Thinking your loved one is a butterfly is great, but it doesn't really make me believe in a connection.

A real disapopintment.

This is my first "Chicken Soup" book but it will not be my last. Every adult has felt loss, sadness, despair, anger, and then hope and comfort. I am grateful for these who can share their stories with those of us who cannot always verbalize our feelings. Thanks to all.
