When it comes to books such as Chicken Soup for the Soul I am a big fan. I have had the pleasure of reading various topics over the years and find this book very inspiring. Every story can touch you in one way or another, help you to be more understanding of what a person may be going through ,and find out that whatever the emotions are, it's perfectly normal. One particular author of " I Miss My Breasts" Linda Fiorenzano;s story may have touched me a little more. having known her most of her life I find her story very moving. I learned something I never knew through her story and also learned how she coped, found love and continued to grow. This is a must read book for all and I assure you it will touch you.

This is a book different than traditional Chicken Soup books as it is a thinner paperback that includes both personal stories we all love to read and medical support advice. While I personally don't have anyone in my immediate family who has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer, I know how it affects others and how it can be helpful to hear others stories. There are stories from others who are in their own breast cancer journey and then advice from a medical doctor. For those who love Chicken Soup books and have to deal with breast cancer, this is a great book. It is short but perfect to pick up and read a little bit at a time.

Now for those of us who have either gone through the journey of breast cancer ourselves or with our family and friends, we can have a lil help on the path. Chicken Soup for the Soul has put out Hope & Healing for Your Breast Cancer Journey. It is a perfect lil book to help when the path gets too bumpy. It is there step by step as we all experience the pain then start getting up and getting to work. Gathering your doctors and family support, educating yourself as to what is to come and then living and surviving this horrible ordeal. It finishes up as you heal body and soul as we all must do.

I am so proud of the family and friends that have made this journey. They had to fight and fight hard. But to have them here with me is amazing. I have been blessed to have survivors around me. I wish that I had this book to share with them at that time of their lives. Thanks to Chicken Soup for the Soul for sharing with me too. It is an honor to work with them.

The article written by Linda Fiorenzano was succinct and a true account of her experience going thru
this disease with her entire family being involved. She brought the reader along thru her journey with feeling and compassion. She is an interesting writer and I can't wait to read her book.

Beautifully written from her heart and soul. The author of this story (I Miss My Breasts) is one of the strongest persons I know and I am honored to call her a friend. She knows from real life experiences how important support is to cancer survivors and she helped make my own cancer journey a little less scary. I look forward to reading the book she is currently writing and am happy she has found her "bliss" with Pete and her new career as a writer. Although I am not a breast cancer survivor (colon cancer survivor), I found all of the stories in this book to be relevant to my life at the time of my treatment and to my life now. Thanks to all who contributed their stories - they were all touching.

Do not hesitate to purchase this book just because you are not a breast cancer survivor. The stories are all relevant and helpful to any cancer survivor.

This is an inspirational story about a brave woman and her sadness with her familys illness and then her battle with breast cancer. It was nice to read a happy ending to her journey thru cancer.
