Editorial Reviews

Product Description

A collection of 6 thought-provoking short stories by acclaimed Afro-Belgian writer Chika Unigwe collated and made available on the Kindle for the first time in support of Worldreader.

In these stories Unigwe takes the reader into the details of people’s lives and into the pivotal moments that shape their personal worlds. She is a master at crafting infinitely believable, empathetic and yet original characters whom readers will not only instantly identify with but also ultimately learn from.

You’ll meet Oge, one half of a mixed race marriage teetering on the brink of destruction, and Anonymous, a Nigerian woman whose dreams of a better life abroad are tragically complicated upon arrival in the Netherlands.

This is a collection of short stories that will immediately draw you in and linger with you long after you finish reading.
