About the Author

Maurice Woodson began writing professionally while still in high school when he published a small socially conscience magazine out of his family's Bronx N.Y. apartment. He then contributed to several national magazines and local newspapers. He has authored three children?s books (soon to be released) and has published A book on pregnancy and childbirth. As a volunteer to several youth and family organizations, he has made family appreciation and togetherness his mission. Maurice Woodson is a father of three and currently lives in New York State. --This text refers to the Paperback edition.

This book is perfect. I feel my children are safer because of it.
I learned alot and I will continue to educate my children over and over again with the information supplied by this book. This book is also used in our sunday school program. I strongly urge all parent to buy, rent or borrow this book.

I"m a single dad from new jersey. A friend of mine ...a woman gave me this book as a gift. It sat on a self for almost a month before I decided to read it. I learned so much from it. I must have read it 10 times and I keep going over the information with my ten year old. The book showed me how to teach the child without making him seem like I was Preaching to him. Some of the lessons were actually fun for both of us.
The other week, A man grabbed my son at the mall. My son did what I taught him to do. The man released him and took off leaving my son unharmed. It was amazing. I know that I am more aware and so is my son. I can't skeak highly enough about this book. Get this Book...you won't be sorry you did.
