The hats are quite small. My son's head is in the 90th percentile, and though he is only 3, the hats are too small for him. Just beware, 20" is much smaller than I was expecting.

We used them with a bunch of stickers as a "decorate your own hard hat" activity at my son's birthday. The material is very thin, but they hold up well enough at the party and a few weeks beyond.

I should have listened to the other reviewer who said they are very small. They don't fit my three year old, sending them back and will be looking for something else for my son's Bob the Builder party. It's too bad, they were a great deal and I wasn't looking for them to last forever, but I can't even get them on his head.

We had a Bob the Builder themed birthday party for our 3-year old and ordered these hats to fit in with the them. They served their purpose. But being what they are, and what they're made of, I would not classify them as durable. If they get stepped on or sat on, the shape will come back, but they can only take so much. But, like I said - they were perfect for what we needed and would buy them again.

Got these hats for a Decorate Your Own Construction Hat activity at my son's 2nd birthday party. I was expecting them to be along the same quality as the Firefighter hats that they sell at the dollar store based off of the $20 regular, non-sale price. I was wrong. These hats are very flimsy and made of thin (not hard) plastic. I don't see them lasting beyond a week or so after the party. Oh well, it'll be fun for the kids while they're doing it. These definitely aren't long lasting.

I purchased these for my sons 4th birthday party - Bob the Builder theme. I purchased stickers and everyone was able to decorate their own hat. The kids (ages 4 -13) had a blast and even a few adults joined in the fun. All the kids were able to wear the hats - even my fatherinlaw put one on (it rested on the top of his head)! These are definately flimsy light weight plastic, but we did not have any broken hats by the end of the party. Definately kept the kids quietly entertained for a while.

Yeah, these are pretty flimsy. I knew that they weren't really durable based on other reviews but I honestly can't pick up one without it folding to my touch. They are VERY thin and I'm not sure they would stay on well because there is such little weight to them (there is no elastic string). I will pass them out as party favors but I'm really glad these didn't cost more than .50 cents each.

These hats were great for a one time use party but were very thin and would not withstand much abuse before they would tear up. Loved them for my construction themed party.

These are great party hats for very young kids, especially for construction, truck, or Bob the Builder themed parties. The hats are fairly small though so they wouldn't work for older kids or adults. Though I suppose they could be used as general decoration for a party as well.

These were ordered for a construction theme birthday party but did not arrive in time for the party so I really don't know anything about the product. I returned them unopened.
