I looked all over for a chest of drawers this size - almost impossible to find. But finally I did and it is perfect for the space requirements of our bedroom. I'm VERY pleased with it. It looks like MUCH more money than it was.

The only reason why I hesitated to give it a 5-star rating is that when the manufacturer says "assembly required," please understand that they REALLY mean it. This chest came in a box packed full of all the PIECES needed to construct it. The instructions are in booklet format -- 25 pages long! Thank goodness my husband is handy. I can imagine many people sending it right back. However, it all went together well and now we have a beautiful piece of furniture.

One more thing -- it is VERY heavy, which is unusual in a less expensive piece of furniture. I couldn't find a weight on the box, but trust me when I say that our UPS man hates us after this last delivery!

Also, the piece is made in the USA -- another plus!

We bought this piece along with the crib and long 6-drawer dresser. Assembly IS required..alot of assembly. When we open the box we had about 6 pieces that were damaged to a point of them not being usable. However, reordering new pieces was simple on the sauder website and the shipped them to us for free. I really like the look of the dresser despite it not being solid wood like the crib. My biggest disappointment with the dresser is that is NOT a perfect match to the crib...and I hate that. If I had known I probably would not have purchased this SET as they call it.
