My 2yr old loves to play the drums on anything he could find: the wall, legs, floor, back of Mommy's laptop. We decided it was time to get him some instruments of his own so he could jam with Daddy and Uncle. I saw this little toy and, reading the reviews, was a tad apprehensive but not deterred. Sure, you're not paying that much and it's a tad cheap, but it's a CHILD's toy. It's not meant to last through the ages. We set it up for his big 2 birthday. As soon as he saw it, immediately he was in love. We've had it for over a month now and I can honestly say the 32.00 was well worth the price. It's effortless to set up, even he does it when he wants to play in a different room. I've seen some reviews where people were complaining the cymbal fell off. #1 in a real set, the cymbal is removable. Stop nit picking. #2 it has an easily removable stopper to keep it attached when playing. Don't lose the stopper and it won't fall off. Even when the stopper isn't on the cymbal will stay put for the most part unless he's overly aggressive and to the point he kicks it over and starts head banging. We all enjoy the happiness he gets from this set. When he's older we will get him the more expensive ones when he understands how to actually play. But this one is great for introducing a toddler to the wonderful world of music and will give them an outlet, albeit a noisy throbbing outlet, instead of running around banging cabinets. Alright it wont stop the cabinet banging completely but you will see it significantly diminish.

Our 3 year old got this drum set as a gift (highly appreciated, because he loves musical instruments)As soon as we got this out of the box, it became clear that this was simply a cheap, shoddily manufactured toy. Lasted a couple of weeks and could not stand the rigors of 3 year old kids jam session. Having said that, the price explains it all, a decent pair of drum set for kids costs about $70 and what you get for 1/3rd of that price is not a drum set, it is simply a roughly made replica of a drum set.

I hunted all over for a drum set appropriate for my young granddaughter for Christmas, as she kept asking for one. I was elated when I found this set on Amazon, & immediately ordered it. It arrived fine, and she loves it. I only wish I had waited a couple more days, because just a few days later I went into Walmart and saw the same drum set for less money, and I wouldn't have had to pay shipping! But she is happy, so I am happy.

I bought these drums for my nephew for his 1st birthday and he loves them. He would play with my rockband drums. So I thought these would be good for him and I was right. He loves them and has fun with them. They are actually of pretty good quality for the price. Worth the money.

I bought this for my three year old last Christmas. It was adorable and he absolutely fell in love with the set. The only problem it was that the drums probably only lasted about a week. My son kept taking the drum apart, as they do not attach together very well, and then gradually one by one he stomped on each individual drum until they were all destroyed. It didn't take much effort to break this set as it was so cheaply made. I think I would have been better off to let him bang on some shoe boxes. I will be investing in a better set next time. In the end, you get what you pay for.

This was not sturdy at all. When I open the box one part was already broken. if i hadn't threw the box away I would have returned it.

just like other reviews fell apart almost instantly. Brought for 2yo son who loves to play for the church. Less than a month after purchase the cymbal stick is broken right where it attaches to foot drum and every time a small tom tom is put on the middle drum attachment the tom tom is broken at the tab. Please trust the reviews and only buy this if you want to make sure your child is interested in playing the drums. If you are positive your child will play the drums forever then, please invest in something better. Be prepared to spend good money but well worth your investment. Again, this set should only be purchased if you just want to see if your child is really interested in playing the drums. Go to youtube christian drum roll to see my son in action. My 2 year old loves these drums. They are just the right size for him. The only problem is that the 2 side drums are now superglued in place because the tab holding them broke within the first week. All he did was lean slightly on the drum and it snapped. I am glad I was able to fix it cause this is one of his favorite toys.

I ordered this for my niece and nephew and it fell apart within a few days. Definitely don't waste your money.

This is a fine drum for a young child, if it would last. Unfortunately, our drum broke literally within twenty four hours of its arrival in our home. All it took was a few enthusiastic smashes to each drum and they both fell off; another few bangs on the cymbal and it snapped too. So I suppose if this is for a very young child (2-3) this might be worthwhile. But for any child who likes to bang away with some strength, this is frankly a piece of junk. The only good news is that Amazon let us return it. We had to buy a more expensive but far more durable piece. Overall, then, not worth it!
