Appropriately heaven bound, November 20, 2006

This is heavenly. Not only 'tis the music -- some of which has been recorded many times -- but mostly the choral texture (sounding always towards the white-voice of those performing) and the perfect acoustic of the recording: open and spacious, as choral music from cathedrals should sound, yet perfectly clear at all sound levels. The order of selections ads to the special experience. And a fully anotated booklet makes this release a superb one.
