About the Author
Desmond F. Perry is the Administrator of the MECA-Seton Teacher Education Program and oversees its three Chicago-area Montessori preschools. In his 30 years of experience in child development, Mr. Perry has prepared hundreds of Montessori teachers and observed thousands of young children grow, learn, and mature. He is a frequent lecturer to parents, teachers, and administrators, and his published works include:

Mr. Perry is a father, a lifelong educator, and an acknowledged expert in the field of child development and Montessori education.
Celma Pinho Perry has served as the Director of Montessori Education Centers Associated since 1965, while preparing teachers, lecturing, and consulting internationally. She is the Educational Director of the MECA-Seton Teacher Education Program and is the founder and director of the Seton Montessori School, the Montessori Infant & Toddler Community, and the Montessori Children’s House. Her published works include:
