4.0 out of 5 stars A useful tool
As a recent MSW graduate, I found this useful as a framework for how to write progress notes. You have their notes which are pretty clear, and with time and practice you get the hang of it and you become more independent of the planner. Its also useful in providing treatment ideas to use with clients.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great!, November 10, 2007
This is a great book to use when you are struggling for wording. It's like it knows exactly what you did with a client in session and it knows how to say it!

5.0 out of 5 stars THE BOOK to have if your work with children!, August 14, 2008

I LOVE these treatment planners and progress note writers. Especially since I often write notes for Medical or insurance who require a more behavioral focused report. I have no problem with reimbursements now and it gives you so many examples that you never run out of the right vocabulary. It's very professional and a must for a new or training clinician or anyone who wants to ensure payment for services.

5.0 out of 5 stars Just love it, March 20, 2011

Struggling to find the right terminology to use after a session, the progress notes planner is able to assist. It knows exactly how to phrase what you want to say. For now I use it as a framework to write my progress notes on a regular basis. I know that with time and experience I will become more independent of the planner. What I like about this book as well is that it is very professional; it's a must for training clinicians.
