I purchased this product and am very dissappointed. I used the harness in the correct manner on my 13 month old son, and in less than two minutes from the beginning of the very first use, after the product had been out of the box for less than an hour, the fastex tape holding the "tail" attachment to the body of the lion became completely detached, pitching my toddler son chin first onto the grocery store floor. His bottom teeth tore into his upper lip as a result of the impact and there was a lot of bleeding and upset for all of us. While I am sure that my experience is not the common experience as I see lots of wonderful feedback regarding the harnesses overall, I think that I might have received the exception to quality workmanship. I would strongly suggest that if you order this item, you thoroughly review the strength of the stitches in the product before use, especially at the points in which the fastex tape is sewn into the body of the lion. It was such an upsetting experience and I am now afraid to give another harness a try. I would like to state however that I do not feel this incident is a reflection on the seller, it believe it is a manufacturer issue.
