This review is from: Stop My Childhood from Drowning! 39 Lessons from a Child Experiencing Divorce (Paperback)
E.R. Reid takes a child's heart into account in this wonderful observation of how divorce affects children. Told through the voice of a child, this book presents the situation, as well as the solution on how parents can help their kids cope with the challenges faced in single-parent homes. Because many single parents often go through the motions of separation without including the children as fellow passengers, it's the children who continue to carry a lot of baggage that could have been discarded along the way. This book examines the "emotional baggage" carried by kids who are trying to understand and survive divorce. A "must" for every home library.
