2.0 out of 5 stars Insight for Parents of MKs, October 28, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Children of the Call: Issues Missionaries' Kids Face (Paperback)
This book is excellent for parents of missionary children returning to their 'home' country for college or furloughs. Charlene Gray gives deep insight on issues missionary kids may face from her own excperiences as an MK in Africa. She gives tips on how you can minister to your own children as they face difficulties in returning to their host culture. This book also has some good points for those hoping to relate to their missionary families better or provide encouragement for them in their ministry. If you are a missionary parent, minister to missionaries or are simply interested, then this book is for you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Children of the Call, January 28, 2003
By A Customer
This review is from: Children of the Call: Issues Missionaries' Kids Face (Paperback)
This book was truly awesome. Gives a real picture of what it is like to grow up as a MK. Would recommend this to those thinking of going into the Mission Field with children as well as MK's that want to get a grasp on life. Have shared this book with many MK's, and others and they have all enjoyed the benefit of knowing the experience of the writers. My husband was a MK and this really helped me to understand him more. Thanks for sharing your life with us in this book.
