Book Description

5 and upK and up
This book is suitable for those aged 9 to 12 years. God loves children and longs to meet with them through prayer. He reveals Himself freely to children, speaking to them as a very best Friend. This book illustrates in full-colour how God opens the eyes and ears of each child's heart so that they become aware of His constant love and friendship. Speaking in the first person, God assures the reader that He is available to them wherever they go and through every experience. Following the children's story, the author has included a chapter for parents, suggesting a variety of spiritual exercises that will nurture child-like faith.

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome book on hearing and seeing God, December 1, 2006
I heard this book read by one of the Pastor's at our church at a Freedom session. Of course, we were at this Kiaros session because we needed freedom from various things. This book is about hearing and seeing God. It encourages children (an adults) to listen for and talk to God; as well as, enjoy a loving relationship with Him. I know most of us even as adults struggle with hearing and talking with God. I highly recommend this book for the children in your life, but for adults as well.

5.0 out of 5 stars Children see Jesus, March 8, 2004
By A Customer
This book encourages parents to assume that children already have an acute awareness of Jesus in their lives. Why would we allow ourselves (even unconciously) to suppress that? Let's encourage it, and reap the benefits over the years!
I just began reading this book to my children, age 3 and 5. I have already been amazed at their perception of Jesus. They see Jesus with them virtually all the time, and he's always telling them that he loves them!
This book has opened up some unique conversations that I otherwise might not have thought of having with my children.
Try it with your kids, you'll be amazed at what they have to say bout Jesus. (One of my children sees Jesus in Clifford pajamas!)

5.0 out of 5 stars Becoming like a child, July 15, 2011
This review is from: Children, Can You Hear Me?: How to Hear and See God (Hardcover)
Each page allows for conversation with Jesus in freeing ways that children naturally enter in to. I was reading this with my nephews a few weeks ago. They have "prayed the prayer" but the idea of prayed as a living conversation with their friend Jesus where they could ask him questions and actually hear from him isn't something they've entered into. One page invited us to ask Jesus what his favorite thing about us was - I asked my nephew if he wanted to listen. At first he had a hard time, but when we listened again he got a shy smile on his face. I asked him what he heard and he whispered, "Everything." I told him that if it sounds too good to be true, it is probably Jesus.
