Children of Color Publishing has chosen to develop Bible products that help to build the self-esteem of young people of African descent and has thoughtfully and prayerfully designed the Children of Color Storybook Bible for your child of color.
Young people need to understand that their heritage and history began long before civil rights and slavery and that the events and stories in the Bible are a part of that heritage-they took place on the very continent, Africa, especially northeastern Africa, where their ancestors lived and died. Knowing this can help children gain the confidence and courage to overcome the many obstacles they will encounter growing up in the world today.
