In "Children in the Crossfire" four children from both sides of the conflict come to America through a special project, and discover each other away from the ravages of their homeland.

Bonds of friendship develop and inbred prejudices fade while the children stay with host families in America, however the true test of the project’s success will be a Christmas reunion back in Northern Ireland.

I watched this years ago when I was in junior high, right after my family had been a host family for a child from Northern Ireland for the summer...its an older movie now, but it does a good job trying to portray the challenges encountered by the children living in a country where fighting based on religious differences is prevelant.
