Excellent Book On Laban Movement Principles,
By joan m wiegers (Plymouth State College, Plymouth NH) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Children & Movement: Physical Education in the Elementary School (Spiral-bound)
Children & Movement (Physical Education in the Elementary School) is one of the resources that I have been using for the past five years for my graduate course, Dance/movement technique: Integrative Currulum. The book is very helpful in it's explanation of the Laban Movement Theory. I also find the chronological order of chapters beginnning with Understanding movement through the Dance Program to be an excellent introduction for the adult learners who are not movers or dancers. I recommend this book highly to teachers of adult learners or to any learner who is interested in Laban Movement Theory.
