This fascinating book provides a current, thougth-provoking and deeply informative insight into the minds of childdren and how they develop in out modern-day society. I plan to use it in my curicculum this spring at my department of teaching, along with Genie:A Scientific Tragedy. The book is quite interesting, and it was a pleasure to read-I have already started making plans to contact the author to show my approval.

I loved this book for my childhood developement class. It was a really great textbook that went through all the stages of childhood. I plan to work with children someday so I know that I will be keeping this book for a long time!

This book was $107.09 at the university bookstore. I bought it on Amazon.com for $1.00 with postage. I saved over $100. Aside from the savings, this is a comprehensive teaching aid. I recommend it to any and all. I've learned about how the child is a developing human being at conception. I've learned that the teen years are a huge life transition both psychologically and biochemically. I feel more confident in how I deal with others after learning what this book entails.

I purchased this textbook for a college class. The book came as described, had fast shipping and came just in time for my class - although I was late in finding out which textbooks that I needed.
