"Not only is this a very well illustrated story with a connected story that children will love, it also offers a different angle of the relationship of cat and mouse, suggests just what is a heroic adventure (in this case it is a good deed), shares the benefits of creativity and patience and a tender little tale about the importance of family - human and animal. Children will love this book "

"I like the illustrations inside. Great adventure book for kids. You will not lose the colorful story if you look it on the black-white kindle screen. "

A great adventure children's ebook : Leo’s Sunday Adventure begins early one Sunday morning when everybody is asleep. His cat, Milkshake, wakes him up and leads him to the kitchen where he finds something special. This is the beginning of Leo and Milkshake’s short adventure in the house and the back yard. This is a wonderful story for children.
The story teaches children the importance of patience and love of others (they will meet a cat that does not always chase mice) and they will learn how Leo improvises, creatively using objects that he has learnt about.

This is a great ebook for kids

5.0 out of 5 stars Everyone Loves A Hero October 11, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Everyone loves a hero. There are heros and then there are SuperHeros. Heros are admired for their brave acts. Superheroes have extraordinary abilities to help humans. What we have in this book is a SuperHero.

Leo is seven years old and the kind of SuperHero we would all like to be. He loves his family, his mother, father and his cat, Milkshake. Leo's mom made him a SuperHero outfit, gloves, a motorcycle helmet and a baseball bat. Leo loves to wear his SuperHero outfit. On this Sunday morning, Leo's cat wakes him up by licking his face, it tickles. Leo knows this means that Milkshake has found something that needs attention. And, indeed attention needs to be paid immediately. Something is lost and Leo and Milkshake use their powers and their thinking caps to help out.

The lesson we learn in this story is that the ability to be a SuperHero is in all of us. We just need to be the best people we can be and to be helpful and loving. This book about Leo and the SuperHero is so well written, it does not talk down to children, the book includes everyone. TheBrothers, are the authors of this book. They have children and wanted books for them that would be a good learning experience. The illustrations are colorful and distinctive. This book leaves us feeling happy and good about ourselves.

From the Author

One night  while covering my kids to go to sleep, he asked me how can he become a superhero.
I answer him the a superhero is not someone that climb on building (like spider man) or saving the world. A superhero can be even someone that make a good deed....
The same night I sat down and started to write this story. I created Leo, his sister and even milkshake in a away that every kid can say "Wowow.." he is a really superhero.

“Leo SuperHero” children book written and illustrated by TheBrothers is a story about an ordinary boy who, when the need arises, transforms into a super hero.

The main character Leo is seven years old boy who lives with his parents, younger sister and Milkshake the cat. So when one Sunday morning, while everyone else are still sleeping, his cat will wake Leo up, he will bring a costume that his mother made, take other superhero equipment and go to solve the difficult situation that had upset his beloved pet…

The new children book by imaginative duo TheBrothers for its topic has frequent fantasy of young children to become super heroes and solve difficult and dangerous situations, helping persons close to them.
What makes this book special is that unlike many books on market, even for young children, the adventure and problem this little hero is solving isn’t dangerous and there is no violence at all in the book that makes it ideal for younger children to read it together with their parents.

The book also encourages the love and understanding between people and animals, therefore even cat and mouse as archenemies want to help each other on book pages.
Therefore, this nicely illustrated book with a beautiful message can be recommended for children from 3 years onwards, because they’ll certainly enjoy it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Well Done, Leo! September 16, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Filled with eye-catching pictures and an easy-going tale of how one little boy became a hero, Leo: Superhero - A Sunday Morning Adventure by The Brothers is an ideal quiet time read for younger children and their families! Young Leo and his cat, Milkshake set out to rescue a young mouse who has been separated from his family, complete with Leo's Superhero costume!

Leo proves that superheroes do NOT need to be larger than life, louder than a sonic boom, or tougher than nails! My overall take of this children's book is that Leo has learned the true meaning of being a real superhero is in doing good deeds. My hat is off to Leo and his creators who never woke the family up so early in the morning!

In his homemade superhero costume Leo and his cat Milkshake set out on an early morning adventure to help aid a family of mice. Leo-SuperHero contains cute illustrations and a simple story of an ordinary hero helping out a distressed mouse. I thought the illustrations were cute. The story was simple and his super-hero task was preforming a good deed. An example any child can follow.

Leo-SuperHero is a book that is worth taking a look at.

5.0 out of 5 stars A boy, a cape, and a solution to a problem December 6, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
Great book about patience and problem solving. Leo goes to sleep an ordinary boy, but when his cat Milkshake awakens him, he turns into a superhero who is an ace at finding the issue and then resolving it. After he discovers a harmless night time visitor in the form of a mouse, Leo works out a way to return him to his family in the bushes. He proves that by using his head, he can entice the intruder and get him safely back into his own territory. A cute story about a boy with brains that match his spirit as well as his determination.

5.0 out of 5 stars Not all cats and mice are "Toms & Jerrys" December 18, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition
Little Leo is a superhero. Well, that is, in his mind's eye. His Mom made him a superhero outfit. When Leo wears his outfit, he gets into the superhero mood.
This is a sweet short story about a kid in the mood of good deeds. He is being awaken on a Sunday morning by his cat and embarks on a journey to return a wandering mouse to his family outside. He is done with his task and gets back to bed before anyone else wakes up.

I liked the colorful, cheerful illustrations and the educational ideas and moral values behind the story.
Well done, Mr. John Allen ("The Brothers").

5.0 out of 5 stars `I think we did a good deed today.' September 12, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The Brothers is a publishing team of two married fathers of young children, a team of writers and illustrators who have elected to turn their attention to creating books for children. "We provide the children with the correct tools to deal with the day -to-day issues of the world....we want the children.... to explore, to be able to cope and to make use of knowledge, tools and wisdom to solve problems and cope in our world.'

Leo is a seven-year-old young lad who loves with his parents, his younger sister and his cat Milkshake: Leo is a Superhero and loves to sport the superhero outfit his mother made for him. Early one Sunday morning, while it is still dark, Leo is awakened by Milkshake who appears to want to show Leo something. Leo complies, puts on his superhero outfit, and the two go quietly to the kitchen where Milkshake shows Leo a small hole in the wall. Using his mother's hand mirror Leo looks in the hole and sees a little gray mouse. Milkshake leads Leo to the yard where the two see a little family of mice looking for something. Leo's superhero brain pops into action, he gathers his Legos, a piece of cheese, and a cereal box and sets the items by the hole. Gradually the little mouse come out, sees the cheese, and Leo catches the little mouse in the cereal box. Leo and Milkshake then take the little lost mouse to its family outside, but before leaving after their major rescue mission, Milkshake takes the piece cheese and gives each member of the mouse family a portion. Happy about their good deed Leo and Milkshake return to bed, pleased with their adventure.
