Perfect for Disney - for our family, too!,

Like a previous reviewer, I purchased these packs specifically for a trip to Disney in 2004. They were the perfect size for my (then) Kindergartener and Second Grader. Not too wide or bulky so they were comfortable to wear. The strap 'tail' had to be wrapped around the back strap a few times so it wouldn't drag, but it wasn't an issue. My kids have since graduated to the Everest adult size bag because the opening in THIS bag is too small - but that's good for keeping snacks from falling out when little hands reach in/out!
My neice and nephew are about to embark on their first WDW trip and so I am purchasing two new ones as their bon voyage gift. The quality is superb - these are not whimpy bags and the clips are very sturdy. For what it's worth - we still use personal fanny packs w/ snacks and water bottles on each trip to Disney (second trip was in 2006, next one is 2008) and it completely eliminates whining in line about being hungry or thirsty.

Perfect for Preschoolers but not any older than that,

I can't emphasize enough how TINY these are! Make sure you look at the dimensions and use a ruler so you know what size to expect.
They were perfect for my 3 and 4 year olds, but too small for my 8 year old. I was able to fit a miniture flashlight, child-sized pen, chapstick, pocket spiral notebook and an emergency card. I could not fit store bought snacks in it. Maybe if I made my own snack with a sandwich bag it might have fit because I could control the size of the snack, but it would have been tight. And it is hard to get anything out of it if it's stuffed too full. So again, it's quality material and a great TINY product!

Great for Disney,
This review is from: Children's Fanny Pack by Everest (Apparel)
I bought these fanny packs for my kids (3 & 5) to have a place to put stuff and keep their emergency contact card when we went to Disney. I tried "adult" size ones before buying these, but they were too big and wouldn't adjust to their kid-sized waists. The packs are small, but the perfect size for them. I managed to fit their sunglasses, a small flashlight and personal fan (Dollar store purchases), as well as their contact card in the pack without any problem.

Very, Very Small,
This review is from: Children's Fanny Pack by Everest (Apparel)
I bought these packs for my kids to take on vacation, planning to use them for a gameboy and a few snacks. They are tiny! Good if your looking for something to carry a few very small items like keys & a candy bar.

Wait Strategy,

I ordered this fanny pack for one of my little preschool students who is learning how to wait. She has autism, and waiting is really hard for her. I stocked the pouch with items that would prompt her to use strategies she has learned to help her when she has to wait--a small 1 min. sand hourglass timer, a link from a linking toy with a letter on it to remind her she can sing her alphabet, little fun gloves she can put on to count her fingers, and a squeeze ball. She reaches into the pouch when she has to wait and pulls out one of the objects and uses the strategy. The pouch goes between home and school, and her parents are delighted. The pouch is really perfect for her and adjusts small enough to fit her with plenty of room to grow. I cut off some of the belt because it was too long after I adjusted it. She loves the little pack. It is comfortable and has what she needs right at hand. She is able to unzip the 2 compartments and pull out what she needs. I am really pleased with this product, and may have to order another for my classroom since this one will be going on with my student as she heads to kindergarten.

Perfect for errands!,

This is a small fanny pack no doubt. However, it is perfect for a driver's license, insurance cards, a couple of credit cards, a few 20 dollar bills and keys & cell phone. It's perfect for errands around town and it is TOUGH! It is better built than a lot of fanny packs I've owned in the past. That plus all the different colors make it a great addition to anyone's set of wallets & purses.

I bought these for my two boys(10 & 6)for our trip to Disneyland. One in Black and one in Navy. They are small, but it was pefect for them. It's great to keep pocket change, small toys or mp3 players in. A cell phone would fit too. I put shiny pennies in the front pocket, because they both love the pressed penny machines you find at the amusment parks. I also kept emergency Ph#'s etc. in there, just in case. They didn't mind wearing them at all. And they didn't get in the way of the seatbelt/bars on the rides either. We plan to use them again on our next vacation.

Excellent value - well made and sturdy,

Bought these for 5 and 8 yr old sons to use at Walt Disney World. They were the perfect size for holding a small snack, pressed coins and folded park maps. The straps were also sturdy enough to hold our refillable mugs; just looped the strap through the handle.
This isn't a big bag; don't expect to carry a bottle of water or autograph book in them. It is great for smaller items, especially snack items and cash. Review the measurements carefully; I found the bag to be exactly as described. They are a good size for younger folks to carry their own things around during the day. The material is strong, and durable. After water rides, all day walking, and numerous spills, it still looked pretty good. A terrific value for the money - we are taking them back on our next Disney trip.

I was very disappointed at the size of this fanny pack. It's probably half the size of most fanny packs I've seen. The spec says it's 8" x 3.5" x 2.5". But note the 8" is overly generous as it measures the widest points where the belt attaches to the pack. From top to bottom, the pack tapers in to a width of 5" and that is a more accurate measure of its effective width.
