Children's Full-Service Porcelain Tea Party Set in Wicker Carry Case *Perfect Gift Idea for Children, Girls, Boys, Birthday, Holiday, etc.*

My daughter was over joyed to get this for her birthday! The only thing that she wasn't happy with is once the plastic is removed there is nothing to keep the tea set from breaking in the wicker carry case.

When looking at this product, I assumed it was made in China since it does not say where it was made. With all of the lead paint recalls from Chinese made toys, it is hard to consider something which is designed to be put in a child's mouth that is made in China, Especially with high-temperature water which is highly reactive.

So I went to True Value Hardware and found one (Fielder Keepsakes) which is made in the USA.

Although, my daughter is only two, she spends a lot of time playing with this set, she really enjoys it.

We were very happy with this set of child's china dishes and benifited from the other feedback here. It was a nice size and seemed substantially strong for china.

This is a very nice item for young children. Although made of porcelain it is quite durable and , in my case, my grand daughters played more gently and mannered than usual. Excellent for the imagination and a subtle etiquette tool. The seller was quite responsive to a clarification call and the item was delivered as promised and in perfect shape.

I purchased this tea set for my 2 year old granddaughter and a Valentine's Day tea party photo shoot that she was in. The pieces are surprisingly durable and sturdy for porcelain, not as breakable as your fine china, as long as there is adequate adult supervision. The size of the set is perfect for little hands. I kept the plastic molded inserts in the wicker case to place the dishes in between uses rather than let the pieces rattle around loose in the case and risk breakage. That gives you an idea of the size and how pretty this set is. My ganddaughter has such fun playing with this set, and has learned the proper technique for holding the lid on the pot while pouring tea in a cup. The wicker basket is also very nice and sturdy. The pink gingham check napkins are cute too. The only thing I would list as a "con" is that the spoon separates from the handle after about the 2nd or 3rd washing, but I can probably "hot glue" them with a drop of glue very easily.

We've only got photos of our grandchildren to judge from, but my wife's first response was to marvel at the apparent quality shown in the photos. The kids seem to like it too. Elder grandchildren loved sets like this when they were younger. It connects them with the elegance of an age gone by.

Our granddaughter loved this birthday present from us. She just turned six. We accompanied the set with a book, "Come to My Tea Party" by Sandy Lynam Clough and it appears that Kate will enjoy entertaining her dolls and stuffed animals for a long time.
