I loved the original "Children's Ministry That Works" book. I assumed that the updates of this book would only improve the content. However, I was wrong. They took out valuable information proved to be an excellent teaching tool and replaced it with "just stuff." This book was a big disappointment to me.

This book was incredibly helpful for me when I first started in Children's Ministry--and beyond! Each chapter covers a different area of Children's Ministry and helps lay a solid foundation for your ministry. I've re-read most chapters to help me evaluate our ministry. All ages are covered and there are things for churches of any size. A must have for anyone in Childrens' Ministry!Check out this resource as well--it's a keeper! Children's Ministry in the 21st Century
