5.0 out of 5 stars Full of Wonderful Surprises November 10, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I bought this for my two grandsons as we have our "reading time" together in the evenings. They love this book as the illustrations are top notch and the stories are just full of imagination. This book is full of wonderful surprises just waiting to be discovered. Their favorite are the Dinosaurs, they just loved the pictures and the story. This is a book that we will be coming back to again and again. It is nice to find quality books for children that we can both enjoy and this one is on top of the list, Thanks!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Most Creative Children's Book in Years November 5, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
This book is so amazing! I wish it was around when I was a child, because this would have been a book I'd have had my father read over and over!
This book is so creative and clever. It takes many ideas and refreshes them for a younger generation. The illustrations are so bright and colorful...I can't help but love this book.
My favorite story in this book, although I liked them all, has to be the one about the princesses. I have always loved princesses and this story puts a new spin on the old story of rescuing princesses from towers.
This story is adorable and smart. I know it says it's a children's book, but I think the parents will get a real kick out of it too. It takes what adults loved about their childhoods and puts a new spin on it.
I gave this book 5 stars, but I'd give it 25 if I could!

4.0 out of 5 stars Totally worth the purchase! November 7, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
The kid loves the space school story with the aliens and suprise, suprise the dinosaur story, but not the mouse one, which I think is the best of the lot. Why is it he never likes the stuff I do!!! Great, orignal stories, worth the buy.

A lot of BANG for your buck here! Six fun, clever tales with great artwork easily accessible in any order you choose from the handy links in the table of contents. My favorite being "Space School" for having humorous passages like ' "But, but," said Mia. "I can't fly a spaceship...I can't even ride a bike..." Given the quality of the artwork and story lines along with the books length I found this collection to be a real bargain. Very good tales!

More About the Author

My name is Charles Vald and I live in London, UK.

I have always loved writing stories and I am very lucky that my wife does too.
Together we work as a team creating fun and original stories.

The first audiobook CD we created was a special CD to help children sleep. The CD has a set of relaxation exercises followed by a guided story about a trip to the beach. There are now two CDs in the series, the second being about an outing to a lake.

In December 2010, an anthology of our stories was released on audio CD. We then adapted the stories in 2011 to release them in a kindle book.

In 2012 we released Clara's Ugly Monster. A picture book about Clara who loves her ugly, clumsy, noisy purple monster, but Mum doesn't. So, Mum swaps it for a cute green monster, which unfortunately may not be as perfect as it seems.

At the end of 2012, we released two more books, and now it's time for a nice cup of tea.
