Book Description

Surviving Primary School! - How to succeed in everything that you want and could wish for…

It happened in the middle of a math class.

The teacher asked a question which I knew the answer to...it was as clear as day so I decided to pluck up the courage to raise my hand.

Up to this day I’m not sure who was more excited, me for having raised my hand, or my teacher who was seeing me ready to answer a question (and open my mouth to talk) for the first time since I’d landed in her class…

“Yes, what’s the answer?” asked the teacher…
I’m sure you know the feeling of those moments when everything goes blank, a “black out” when your answer suddenly gets stuck somewhere and you’re sure that you don’t know anything and you can’t remember anything…

That’s exactly what happened to me. At that moment, when I realized that I was going to speak, I went silent; I forgot what I wanted to say.

Review

"Like all of the ebooks by Dr. Orly Katz this is fantastic. Read it I liked it and I am sure you will like it to. I don't ever want to think negative again."-Ervsbookreviews

"I absolutely adore this book. Parent may not notice when their children are developing negative thoughts or low self-esteem. Children may not want to discuss the matter so this is a great book to give to your children. They can take the quizzes and do the exercises and come to realize a thing or two about themselves. Feeling great about themselves will lead to a happy life.   This is fantastic!"-TienTaylor

"It's a wonderful tool to get kids out of their heads and free of inferiority complexes to live out their lives. A must buy"-A Kid's Review

"My daughter loved it, and I actually pulled a few things I should have already known out of it.
My daughter wants to get the other 3 books in the series, which says a lot about this book!"

5.0 out of 5 stars Be Yourself March 31, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I've read two of the books so far, and I love this series.

This book shows children that they can be okay with who they are, in spite of any physical problems or disabilities; they learn that how they see themselves is a choice. This clearly written book also encourages them to think positively in order to create positive outcomes. I very much recommend it to every parent.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Very Positive Book January 13, 2013
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
I have a niece who is going through the difficult times of growing up, at the age of 13. I wanted to read this book to see if it was something she would enjoy reading, and whether the book would provide a positive message. I was pleasantly surprised to find myself learning a few things. When my niece finally got the chance to read the book, I could tell she really enjoyed it.

I love how the author incorporates real life stories and examples to make her point. Her stories all have a lesson and a moral to them. The book is well written in a way that makes you breeze through it. I also liked that the author included a few self analysis questions. Overall, I found this book to be very positive and helpful.

5.0 out of 5 stars My daughter loves this book! January 12, 2013
By Travis
Format:Kindle Edition|Verified Purchase
My daughter recently came home from school in a bad mood. I tried a few times to get her to tell me what was wrong but I just couldn't get it out of her. Eventually later that night she asked me, "Am I ugly?"
No parent wants to hear that. I reassured her a bunch. I told her she was beautiful and I tried to make her feel better but it didn't work as well as I'd hoped. I knew I had to try something else.
That's why I picked Dr. Katz's book that deals with positive thinking for her age.
This book has a ton of great true stories, exercises, questionnaires, tips and great illustrations, how to think well about yourself, love yourself and project it to your friends in this difficult age- at primary school.
My daughter loved it, and I actually pulled a few things I should have already known out of it.
My daughter wants to get the other 3 books in the series, which says a lot about this book!

I was fortunate to be asked to review all four books in this series to include in the Children Read week at I am, Indeed. They are great `how to' books - providing both children and their parents with concise options and techniques to work through those troubling issues that are a part of growing up: self-esteem, peer pressure, popularity, self-awareness, kindness, positive thinking and communication. Everyone can use new tips and tricks to battle those issues that come up when least expected, adolescence is a tricky time for everyone. Having a clear set of options and resources is always a good thing.

I received an eBook from the author for purpose of honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own responsibility.
