I first discovered this tape at my daughter's daycare. There are several young toddlers (age 18 months to just over 2 years) who frequently get unhappy when their parents drop them off first thing in the morning. For some reason, if this tape is playing, everyone calms down very quickly... we're talking mere *seconds*! If the tape isn't playing when we get there, we always ask, "Is the tape rewound?" just in case! The songs are also a lot of fun, and it's very cute watching a roomful of toddlers doing the fingerplay. I've also seen my daughter "teach" one of her dolls to do some of the fingerplay.

THIS WAS RECEIVED AS A GIFT FOR MY DAUGHTER WHEN SHE WAS ABOUT 18 MONTHS OLD AND SHE LOVES IT! SHE KNOWS EACH TUNE AND CAN SING ALONG. IT HAS TAUGHT HER SOME OF THE CLASSIC CHILDRENS SONGS/STORIES AND SINCE THEY ARE SUNG BY OTHER CHILDREN, THEY ARE EASY FOR TODDLERS TO RELATE TO. THE FIRST THING SHE MENTIONS WHEN SHE WAKES UP AND THE LAST THING SHE TALKS ABOUT BEFORE BED IS HER "SONGS"! CAN'T WAIT TO FIND SOME MORE WEE SING MUSIC.

My daughter loves going to sleep listening to her tape. And she has learned all of the old songs that I learned as a kid. It's a wonderful collection and I buy it for all of my friend's kids too...I highly recommend it.

I found this tape 6 years ago and my infant son loved it. The songs that I was especially fond of was the one that teaches you your address and another one about the days of the week. Last year, my son was in Kindergarten and those were a couple of the things that they had to know. It was great because my son had already known them! If only they had a song about the months of the year and to teach you your phone number... I have been searching for the CD version because the cassette is now becoming worn out and I need it now for my other children and I am happy to see that it will be released sometime next month (check in the "books" section). I will definitely pre-order it!
