I searched everywhere for a metal set of pots and pans that wasn't miniature and could actually hold play food. This is the best one I could find. The max size of Alex and Schylling/Jr Chef pots are 3.75" in diameter. In this set, the larger pot and fry pan are 5" and the smaller pot is 4". Much better for actually holding food. These pots are very durable and look very nice. Choose this set!

My 3 year old received this pots and pans set for Christmas. He loves to cook with it and it holds his Haba wooden food nicely. As with most boys, he's tough on his toys. We recently found him in the playroom standing on the stock pot. Even after supporting my son's 39 pounds for several minutes, the pot looks brand new. And the really nice thing it, once my son outgrows this set, I can use it for real food. They'll make nice pans for small quantities of sauce.

I searched all the local toy stores and online for a realistic, just smaller, cookware set for my 2.5 year old. I finally purchased this and was really happy with the product. I'm always hesitant to purchase a product when I can't see it first but this was exactly what I was looking for! The pots and pans are a perfect size with matching lids and are basically just a mini-version of my pots and pans set and can be used in the same manner. My son loves it! Highly recommended over any of the other brands / sets you can find in the stores that are just too small and made with poor materials.

Liked the look of these, so we got them although our child is 2, much younger than the recommended age 3 listed on the website or even more startling age 5 listed on the packaging. These pots and pans seem very sturdy, with handles securely welded on, no screws to come loose. Child loves cooking in them and banging on them, just like the real thing!

My son loves these pots and pans and they are durable. My only issue is that they came in a very pink and girly box so we couldn't give the set to him in the box or he'd have screamed- this is a girl's toy!

These pots look a lot larger than what they are. We saw similar pots in the stores for a lot less, but wanted to get something larger. Base on the pictures and price we assumed these were more. We were very disappointed when they arrived to see they were just as small as the ones we saw in the stores. Our toddler likes to play with these, but still prefer our real pots.

*Update - a couple months later the handle broke of the little pan. Very disappointing!

I did not mind spending the money for these pots and pans since they received such great reviews. I was totally disappointed when they arrived. They did not appear to be any better quality than the less expensive versions.

While I was researching play pots and pans the reviews said these were bigger then most. I still think they are on the smaller side. Pottery barn pans are much bigger but they dont come with lids which my kids enjoy. Still pleased

These pans are an awesome addition to my daughter's kidkraft play kitchen. She loves them. I had no idea until they arrived that you can actually use them on a REAL stove! They are made very well. I highly reccomend them! :)

I was really happy with this purchase! The pots and pans are sturdy and look/feel like the "real" thing. They clank together just like regular cookware and they are generously sized to fit all sorts of play food. Other sets I looked at were much smaller and cheaper feeling. I read the previous reviews on this product and decided to go for it -- and I'm glad I did!
