When my daughter gets her stuffy, runny nose, it eventually starts to grow bacteria. The mucus will turn thick and green, her breath will smell something awful and she can't hear a thing. I know then that a sinus infection is starting up. To clear that up, I put her on Sudafed PE during the day and Dimetapp at night with Mucinex to thin out the mucus and help it drain. It works every time. The sinuses clear up quickly, her hearing improves. The breath will smell for a few more days.
My daughter doesn't seem to mind the raspberry flavor, but she will take most medications without complaint. It smells delicious.

The medication expiration date was only 2 months after the purchase date! This is absolutely unacceptable and probably against FDA regulations. Do not buy.
